Hello ECF !
I just joined . . . I wouldnt say Im a newbie - as this forum has been a bible for me for several months now. I cant say Im new to e-smoking either, as, Ive been vaping for over a year now as well . . .
I do have a few questions however, probably best answered by Mik (of Janty) or other producers of e-cigs . . . but all welcome, please !
One of my favorite e-cigs is a DSE108 (not sure of the Manufacture signature The pleasure of smoking without all of the problems). Ive used Greensmoke (but think their batteries are a crock ! stay away and also E-cigs equivalent), and have my Janty eGo 510 which I love (though have had many addy problems more on that soon).
My first question is, I have an Energizer 2450 mAh rechargeable battery sitting in front of me. I use this for many of my electronics and think they are quite good. Its size (diameter) is almost the same as the eGos 900 mAh battery . . . so, why is there not a device available that allows me to use this battery (or this batteries specs) instead of whats available ? (or, maybe there is . . . please advise !). Mik, is it not possible to increase the diameter of an e-go battery just enough to allow house hold (or better yet, Rechargeable batteries) such as this 2450 mAh battery ??? Think of it, 900 vs 2450 . . . I dont know about you, but, battery power is my number 1 complain about e smoking. Allow me to recharge 4 x 2450 mAh Energizer batteries overnight in Energizers charger and Im set for a heck of a long time !!!! Battery problem solved, worst case, run to a corner store and buy some AAs !?!? And PCCs . . . theyre not much better either as far as mAhs go . . . why ? The juice is out there, why not for us ?
Addys, my second problem with e-cigs . . . as mentioned, my favorite e-cig is the eGo. My second is a DSE108. Ive had my 108 for a year now. Same addy, same battery ! My eGo is 7 or 8 months old, too many DURA eGo addys to count (not to mention LRs and Dura Jumbos), and a few extra batteries as well. Now, I love that Janty backs up many of their products with great warranties, however, whats so complicated with an addy that it cant last years (or at least a year) ? and with that, Im not trying to create problems or piss people off, Im just wondering why I cant rely on my 510s, when my single 108 addy has been to hell and back 2xs and is still taking a licking . . . ?
Some might say its the juice, however, I use the same juice (Crystal Liquid and Halo) in each device . . .
Anyhow, not hear to create problems, just thankful to finally have joined the ECF family ! Any input is appreciated and Mik, if you're listening, THANK YOU !
