Hello good people! 
I've been 'lurking' for a number of months, hoping I would someday be able to join you as 'a vaper'...and I believe that day has arrived!
I've been trying to take up vaping on and off for about 18 months, but could never make the switch totally from analogs while using PG (with a Joye 510), regardless of nic strength. I finally figured out that I don't like the taste of PG, plus it makes my mouth and lungs sore after only a few days. Laying off the ecig allowed uncomfortable symptoms to go away...and I would always go back to analogs.
After 32 years of 2 PAD, 'cold turkey' makes me terribly depressed - crying & crap - not worth the pain! I made it 5 months one time, but when my doctor suggested I try Xanax to 'take the edge off', I said "SCREW THAT! I already KNOW how to 'take the edge off'"...and I was back to analogs that day. 'Cold Turkey'...I couldn't do it.
By continuing to read ECF, I recently decided to try a different PV with 100% VG at a higher nic level (24mg). I ordered an Ego-T (Type A and B LR), smok Tech DUAL COIL cartos LR, Boge 2.0's, a new pass-through, and a smorgasbord of VG juice samplers. All this stuff arrived September 17th, but I didn't break into it until the next day. WHY? Although I felt kinda excited about it all, I also was afraid of being disappointed...again, so I was in no hurry to mess up my good mood.
I smoked 1/2 a pack of Winstons before opening my goodies on the afternoon of Sunday, September 18th, and ALMOST ONE MONTH LATER that same 1/2 pack is sitting right here on my desk in front of me: I haven't touched them since, nor have they 'called to me'! Can it REALLY be THIS EASY to lay off the analogs???
Anywhoo, to ALL the folks who have posted in these pages, you ARE a valuable resource, and have helped show me a better path that I CAN follow without the trauma of 'cold turkey'! THANK YOU FOR BEING SO OPEN, HELPFUL, INFORMATIVE, INSPIRING and ENTERTAINING...even to a 'lurker' like me!
I'm not going to worry about it if I eventually finish this 1/2 pack of Winstons sitting on my desk (or the other 3 unopened packs in the drawer - or the other 2 unopened packs still in my car), but I don't EVER remember analogs tasting as good as Gorilla Juice!
I've got a BIG bottle of Gorilla Juice coming in time for my ONE MONTH 'ANALOG FREE' ANNIVERSARY on the 18th of this month, plus I've ordered samplers of

Massive Chocolate Mint,
Christy's Cappuccino,
