Hello Ecf, just following the rules and posting in the noobie forum first.

3 days without a cigarette, which doesnt sound like much, but thats 3 days, for the first time in 20+ years.

Was smoking at least 2 pad most that time, sometime up to 3 or more pad if I stayed awake long periods of time.

I never tried to quit, hell most that time i didnt wanna... but for the past few years i have been looking for an easy way to quit smoking. And I think this is as easy as it gets! 3 days in... hope i still feel that way in a year.

anyway i started with a joyetech 900 mAh ego-b is what it says on the box.

is there a cheaper one that does what this thing does?

wheres the best places to order juices, as it seems my local distribution is rather lacking.

Hello and welcome to ECF rifraff. Congratulations on 3 days! Every day without an analog is a positive milestone!
I'm not familiar with the eGo b system to be honest so will leave that for those who are.
There many places to order juices but my advise would be to look at the vendor forums that you will find here. At the top of this page is a button "Forum Suppliers" which is where I started my search for my all day vape.

You can do this! It only gets better, soon you will be able to smell and taste again! Remember to drink lots of fluid to keep hydrated.

Hello Rifraff and welcome to ECF - congrats on 3 days from a fellow St. Louisan! 3 days is a big deal because its the beginning of your journey to being smoke free forever...

Scarlet Faerie is right - stick to only the suppliers that are registered on this forum. We know for sure that they won't cheat us and can trust them. Mainly you will just need to do your research to find your perfect vape. It all seems overwhelming at first but in no time you'll be slinging e-cig lingo like the rest of us!

Best of luck to you!!! :)

You can do it! :)

I'm an eGo-A user, but there's a number of discussions floating around here on ECF about the B-type. The major difference is in the atomizer -- the A-type atomizer is tapered, the B-type is straight, and from what I understand the B-type also doesn't tend to gunk up quite as often. Use thinner juices for your eGo (higher PG ratio than VG) and you should be fine. If you're one of the people who's sensitive to PG, there are also alternatives. I understand that the B-type works really well for dripping.

Personally, I've got a Riva-T clearomizer (holds a couple ml of juice) that I pop on top of my eGo battery more often than not and use that. It makes my life a bit easier.

As for juice vendors, there's hundreds. Skim the forums, read up on stuff. If there's particular tastes you're looking for, ask for recommendations based on those flavors... but asking which juice companies are best is like asking which cloud in the sky is the prettiest. It's all subjective. :D Some companies produce great sweet-tooth juices, others produce great tobacco juices, still others do savory really well. It depends on your tastes as to which is the best. I have a few I've ordered from, and of the stuff I've sampled, there's 2-3 flavors (out of somewhere around 30) which tickle my fancy. Everyone's different.

Congrats Rif, after 3 days I had it pretty much knocked. Actually, think it took me neigh onto 5 months affore I totally quit. It took "Big Batt" mod, w/larger Tank volume to get me off them. More than 10 months now, no tobacco. In fact, last 4 months, 0Nic0FA, Zero Nicotine, Zero Flavor Added. Now my DIY eLiquid costs me .006 p/Ml. Can't find cheaper eLiquid to vape. JMHO

Cheers,

thank you all for your welcome, and for the info.
3 days off cigarettes, ive had this thing for 5 days, at first the tobacco flavor i ordered (joyetech brand) was too harsh, and tasted like peanuts. Now the aftertaste makes u taste like an ashtray... just like smoking. That actually helps
the first few days I had my cigarettes with me, cause I wasnt quite sure yet. Now I still have cigarettes out in the car, but I could throw em away as long as i dont run outve juice.

after learning how to take a good puff of this stuff without choking myself, Ive went through a lil more than 10 ml of this stuff, in less than 5 days...thats alot right?
Ive been puffing nonstop almost it seems lol
I still find myself reaching for a cigarette, but my ego sitting there, and once picked up and puffed, im all good again.
the battery in this thing lasts 12hrs+ so thats no issue. (yet)
the cart u fill for this one, with about 15 drops or so of juice... kinda works like a zippo lighter would... cotton like stuff soaking up the juice. I seem to get bout 3 hours (maybe less) before it tastes like burnt.

I wish 10mls lasted me that long...for me about 1 1/2 days. I vape 6-7mls a day. As for the cart, do you mean cartomizer? If you're using a cartomizer, DON'T let it get dry or you'll get the "burnt" taste. Always top it off. Get yourself a few regular atomizers and a drip tip for testing juices before you dedicate a cartomizer for a flavor...you may not like all the ones you buy.

The first three days are the worst, by FAR. In fact, day 3 was the worst for me. It gets easier and easier. Congrats on making it this far! My only advice is to get small bottles or samples of juice from some trusted vendors and try as many flavors and strenghths as possible. I have 3 or 4 flavors that I rotate throughout the day to overcome the cravings and it works!

Hello Neighbor!! There's only one vendor in STL I've dealt with, however there is this place E-Cigs and E-Liquid in St. Louis Missouri

I plan on going Friday and look at some of the juices. They have multiple locations. (I've not been there only sampled a couple of their juices I was given by a friend). Their pricing on the in store items look a little high to me. (online)
Good luck.

20+ days now smoke free! w00t! I need one of those fancy avi's that counts for me.

Honestly I'm ready to branch out and try all new flavors now. I still, have acquired a taste for the cigarette tasting one, and I have bought 30ml of butterscotch, which is very good, it would be good for someone starting out trying new flavors, but i still kinda crave that cigarette taste, which really doesn't even taste like cigarettes. lol

I also still even... find myself reaching for that ashtray in the car, but as far as cravings go, I just take a puff and I'm good. :)

Yes yes,, welcome! You'll likely find yourself vaping way more than you would have smoked analogs,, and that's ok! I wouldn't worry about how much juice you go through in a day (I stopped keeping track!) and just make sure you have enough that you won't run out. There's SO many good places to get juice.. my faves are Highbrow Vapor, The Vapor Room, AltCig,, get new ones in the mail almost every week!! Congrats on your success!
