Hello Everyone,
Wonder-full web sight here. I'd be even worse off than I am now without all the info I've gathered from here so far. Now for the New player Questions, OK so I didn't do the proper research before buying my kit, I bought a kit from the mall. I payed way way too much for it. Now I turn to the help of the pros here. I hold in my hand a fifty-one kit, the duo style. Now I've bought there refill filters that come loaded with tobacco flavor and so far so good. Other than Way Way too costly. Then I tried to refill the used filters and payed way too much for there refill oil, and the taste is no where near the factory loaded filters. Now I need help, does anyone know of a web vendor that I can buy replacement filters for my 51? I'm in Oregon and 51 well not sell to Oregon for some reason or another. If I can't buy any filters or any parts online can someone please point me to a kit and maybe some video's or instructions on how to do refills, you have to under stand I"m totally new to this, and the only information I get is from here, and I feel like I just learned how to swim and jumped into the Ocean. ;)

Sorry for the long message I'm just frustrated over the total amount of money I've dumped into the mall vendor with nothing to really show for it.
thank you all for any help.

Hi, welcome to ECF. You didn't waste all your money, you found this forum and the whole idea that vaping can really work for you. I had a few e-cigs before finding this place and didn't get the experience I needed. I am unfamiliar with the 51 so I can't tell you if anyone carries compatible parts, I am sure someone else will answer that one for you. If you do go to a new kit I highly recommend the joye eGo and juice from FreedomSmokeUSA, they sell both, call Dave or Pam at the 800 number and let them help you find a good fit for you. Mistress Nomad has some good videos and some others as well you can find in the sticky notes in the new members forum, do check them out. Most of all whenever you have a question, just ask, lots will help. We all have started on this adventure with little to no information and depended on those that have gone before us for guidance.

What is the brand? i will try and figure out exactly what model it is. I am not sure what a 51 is... perhaps others are. The brand would assist. My guess is that they refer to it as 51... but it is not the model, just branding.

As far as oil (liquid, juice) there are links to a lot of sites at the bottom of this forum to order from. If you insist on -prefilled, then you have to know exactly the model and see if it is a common model used by others. For instance, the Vapor4Life is a KR808D-1 and you can order that type of product from a zillion sites...

Ok, i think you are referring to fifty-one brand. I just looked it up. My google search says that it is an E9. The Kr808D-1 is very similar, but far better than an E9. My initial purchase was The Safe Cig, which i also believe is an E9.

If you ever decide to buy another starter kit and you must have one that is similar in style and size to a real cig (referred to on this as an analog) I would strongly consider a KR808. The E9 is ok... but is rather lackluster in providing enough to replace analogs and to be used on a daily basis, in my view.

To understand all this, you need to understand that the name is likely just a brand. A fifty-one is probably not a "51". It is simply what they call it. It is something else - very likely an E9 - with their logo and name on it....

If you ever consider the Kr808, LiteCigUsa has the starter kit for $30. I know as I am waiting for it to come in the mail....:D

Hope that helps!

Thank you all, you guys are so fast at reply, you know I've emailed vendors before and waited weeks before they hit me back, :). TheBuss, Yes it is the fifty-one. Do you know of a vendor online that I could buy filters from? I would like to get the most out of the kit before the company leaves the mall, they claim to have a 100% warranty on the battery. I know I've taken 2 back so for with no problems, but I"m sure it's just a matter of time before they pack up out the mall and run for the hills. I"m am totally ready to buy any add-on parts to make this work with any other brand.

*update* Now that TheBuss has armed me with info I you tubed How-to guide to refilling KR808D-1 or Vapor King cartomizers and bango, that guy is holding my filters. :) other than the color.

I don't want to say for certain that you can order from other brands and it will work. Do I think your model is an E9? Yes. Am I certain? No. I am relying on the search, which could be wrong...

See my above post if you ever elect to try another. I edited it about the Kr808.

My personal advice if you are going to vape is to simply get another model. The KR808 seems to be a good choice for those that truly want one similar in size to an analog. It is a very common model, and you will be able to order cartomizers from a lot of sites. Just my opinion. From what you have said i do not think you will be happy and stick to vaping with what you have. You have supply issues, over paying and the E9 is not great.

You will find that most will not say the KR808 is "the best" for vapers. Everything is a trade-off. If you want lots of "smoke" and throat hit then most everyone would agree the EGO/RIVA is likely best. If you want something small like an analog cig, then mentally the EGO won't work. You will have to choose something like the KR808.

I have the EGO. I have the E9 (mall type). I expect my KR808 tomorrow.

Also, a bottle of juice online is pretty cheap. Don't be discouraged or mad. I payed $100 for my initial Safe Cig. It just is what it is. At the very least it gave you an introduction to vaping. For $100 or so for the "lesson" - it was money well spent - even if you never use them ever again and replace it.

I think in terms of performance the Kr808 vs. the 510/eGo is throat hit vs. vapor production. More of the former with the Kr808, more of the latter with the 510/eGo.

It's a good simple model for a beginner. I'm glad I started with it, and I still like it the best even now, if we're talking out-of-the-box performance (I've moved on to more esoteric things that require fiddling, ha ha).

But I'm a throat hit junkie, and I'll gladly sacrifice a bit of vapor to "feel the burn."

Lost and Found - You can pick up kits at LiteCigUSA, CigEasy, VaporNine, and Vapor4Life. Be sure to get extra cartomizers!

MistressNomad outlines the dilemma in giving advice on what to buy. Some want X, some prefer Y.

I ordered the KR808 for two reasons. 1. I want something smaller to go with my EGO. 2. The amount of vapor does not necessarily equate to "better". It may for most, but not all.

To me, there seems to be a trade-off between the amount of vapor and the flavor. My guess is this is because the flavor gets somewhat lost in the amount of vapor.

One last question to anyone who can help me here. What or what would you consider to be the closest taste / feel to a real Marb? In a Juice?
Probably a 555 mix. Have you tried flavors? You should think about trying different juices and find one you like. I prefer juices from freedomsmokeUSA they are amazing and not hard on your wallet. I wish I could help you more with your questions about your PV but I honestly have never heard of that model. Happy Vaping:)

You are like many of us, including myself that thought we needed a juice that tasted like our old friend tobacco, do order some tobacco juice but also order some flavors like sweet or fruit flavors and even coffee flavors. You will be surprised at what you like. Lots of suppliers carry sample sizes for a few dollars so you can find what you like before ordering big bottles.

I could never think about even vaping a tobacco flavor now.

When I first started I tried several different tobacco flavors then some non tobacco flavors, now I'm the same way no desire to use any of them I have them all sitting in a box I guess in an emergency if I run out of other stuff I could use them to hold me over for a day or two but I wouldn't willing vape them.

Excellent attitude and advice, Buss!
L and F--To me, it has gotten really fun shopping for all the different flavors of juice! The anticipation is killing me!!!

Totally agree. Listen to TheBuss, he's been there.
