That is correct Klynn. the flavoring to my knowledge that I am buying and want to mix with my supplies is the same thing I usually buy from them just without the Nic and vg/pg or at least that what the lady said but then again but who knows.if that's true. I just go in there all the time and she said "let me save you a few dollars" and told me to buy the DIY Cinnamon mint instead of the actual mixed cinnamon mint I usually buy and just add my flavors and of course nic, VG,and PG especially since I add a few more flavors to it when I get home. I used the kayfun comment and the percentages earlier because of what I put into my kayfun so i am not actually sure what percentage DIY Cinnamon mint mixed with the nic and vg/pg would actually be like the other guys were talking about before. Ill try a few ways, I guess that is what trial and error is all about anyway lol.

I would try 10% diy cinnamint 2% choc 2% s. cream and 1% sweetener to start with. Are you going to use the 75/25 vg/pg nic at 100mg to make this? And you want it to be a 60/40 vg/pg final mix?

Yes you are exactly right Klynn, OMG i just excited someone finally understands my mumbo jumbo and bad typing

If you want the 60/40 vg/pg you will need both the plain vg and pg. In the ejuice me up calc that would be

1.2ml ..of 25/75% vg/pg nic at 100mg
4.7ml pg
11.1 ml vg
2ml cinnamint
0.4 s.cream
0.4 choc
0.2 sweetener
This would give you 60/40vg/pg with 15% flavoring course you could always start lower this is a rough mix and might be too much flavor

Hi there! I'm new to vaping, but not to chemistry. Here's the deal:

You want to end up with 20 mL of a juice with 20% flavor and 6mg/mL of nicotine.

1) 20% of 20 mL = 4mL <<<~~~~that's how much flavor

2) How much of the 100mg/mL solution do we need to add to our 20 mL bottle?

~~~well, if we want a bottle containing 20mL of 6mg/mL nic, how many mg of nic do we need?
(20mL)(6mg/mL) = 120 mg nicotine that needs to be in this 20 mL solution
3) So, exactly how many milligrams of nicotine are in that 100mg/mL bottle?
Well you said you had 125 mL of it, so:
(125mL)(100mg/mL) = 12,500mg of nicotine in there... HOLY VAPES!
~~~~but I only want 120 mg in my bottle. How much of the concentrated liquid do I need for my 20mL of magic to be the right concentration?

(120mg)(1mL/100mg) = 1.2mL of the concentrated nic <<<~~~~That's how much of the 100mg nic

4) Now you'll need to dilute your solution with no nic, no flavor VG/PG.

So: 4mL flavor + 1.2 mL of 100mg nic = 5.2 mL
20mL - 5.2mL = 14.8mL <<<~~~~that's how much straight up VG/PG

5) The short version:

4mL of flavor + 1.2 mL of 100mg/mL nicotine + 14.8 mL of unflavored, no nic PG/VG = 20 mL of 6mg/mL magic juice

Hope this helps:). Vape on!

After reading this thread, I am glad I've stuck to rebuilding coils. I've always thought about trying my hand at making my own juice but after reading this I've come to the conclusion that when buying your nicotine it will be much easier going with 100% PG or VG. Fortunately I don't have any issues with either one. If my thinking is flawed please let me know. I had tough time trying to follow some of the math but having never made any juice it was too much like reading a text book at first read. I really like how the members here jump in to help someone new. :) People who vape are generally very friendly people. I suppose it has something to do with smoking cigarettes is very unhealthy and most people don't want to see people killing themselves and are eager to help with a healthier solution. This is a nice forum. The members rock...

The calculator makes it easy. You just need to double check everything like I failed to do a while ago. The pg/vg doesn't have to be perfect. I shoot for a 50/50 mix, but if it winds up being 46/54 it's no big deal. It's fun making your own juices. Just mix small batches at 10ml at first till you get one that you love. I have my perfect mix written down and it's what I mix every time. It's a tobacco, coffee, and café mocha mix.:vapor:

I find this calculator a bit easier to use...

The first link to your recipie shows the correct proportions to make 20mL of 40/60 PG/VG at 6mg/mL of nicotine.

I saw that some people were saying that the flavor might be too strong, but following that recipe, to get 40/60 6mg:

1.2. mL 100mg Nicotine E-juice
4.0 mL CinnAMint
0.4 mL Chocolate
1.0 mL Sweet Cream
2.3 mL Plain PG
11.1 mL Plain VG

If you want to adjust the flavor proportion, let me know, and I can convert it:)

thank you all again. I cant tell you how much I have learned from this all because of this nicotine that is already mixed with VG PG. Either way I'm so glad I finally made a post about this since I have been ignoring this nicotine for sometime now and just glad I made a post about it. One thing is for sure, I defiantly don't like math but I love calculators and smart people to help me with my math lol. I tend to make things harder then it really is but i really appreciate all the advice and help. Either way I have used the calculations from the calculator, adjusted it a tiny bit and now will save a lot of money. Thank you all again.

Oh and real quick what is answer to this math question Mr. Genuis.....
Question : There is a three digit number. The second digit is four times as big as the third digit, while the first digit is three less than the second digit. What is the number? LOL good luck, I'll tell you the answer unless you look it up first :laugh:

582 or 141, either answer works.
