Hello Everyone

I just found this forum. I am amazed at the vast amount of information and also the amount of Vapers here in Canada. I have been vaping for about 2 months and have not had a cigarette for about 6 weeks. Actually, the last cigarette I had, almost made me puke. Now, I can't stand the stink of cigarettes and my new truck smells so much better than the one I had while I was smoking. I have a friend in Quebec that is a vendor and I get all my supplies from him.
Anyone else here from Alberta Canada?

Hi! I'm not in Canada but wanted to say welcome to ECF! There is so much information here.

I use a Vapornine Nebula and have been vaping a little over 3 months now. I can't say enough about how it's changed my life for the better! No smoke, smell, hacking cough, butts, ashes or worrying about finding a place to smoke. Glad you're with us.

Hi, I do have a question about glycerine. Is it only from one source? I went to the drugstore to ask for VG, and the guy said they have Glycerine, but that's all it says (100% Glycerine). It does say from a natural source, but does not specify "Vegetable". I don't need it, I love the kick from the PG, but a friend of mine is complaining it hurts her throat. I was thinking of trying to cut it back a bit with the VG.

I did buy mine at a health food store and it says on the brown bottle vegetable glycerine .
Also some online vendors sell it as well.

Hi Terra Nova and welcome to ECF. There are 2 types of VG- pure 100% vegetable PG and animal byproducts PG. The animal byproducts PG is cheaper to manufacture. If you want true vegetable PG go to a local Health Food Store- they'll have it. At first I bought mine from Shoppers Drug but now buy it from a Health Food Store- it is a little more pricey

Hi everyone! I started vaping last week. I turned to vaping in attempt to decrease the amt of nicotine I was consuming VIA patches, gum, and lozenges. I haven't had an analog since approx 2004! Nicotine replacement is very effective in smoking cessation but...but...then comes the matter of coming off replacement nico!!! Argghhh!! I got a monkey on my back...guess we all do..lol. anyway, I was using anywhere from 24mg to 34mg day. Now that I'm vaping I'm easily & satisfied w 18mg day.
