Norfolk, England
Greetings fellow vapers,

The name's bongobreak, most call me bongo....(long story!)
I'm from the south east of England (Norfolk for any brits out there)

I've just joined here, but I've been loitering as a guest for a while, thought I should sign up and meet a few like-minded folks.

I've been vaping for a few years now - started with a iWand...(pile of junk), then a Joyetech ego with 70/30 PG/VG (1.8% mouth-to-lung vaping)....real runny stuff - leaked like a sieve, but I liked it and it lasted about a year.

Then I made the move to RBA/RTA/RDA and 70/30 VG/PG (0.6% direct lung vaping) and have never looked back.

Currently I'm using a Wotofo Serpent, a Wotofo Atty3 and a Kanger sub mini.
I usually go with * wraps of 26g kanthal and basic japanese organic cotton, and my juice of choice is Generals Juices here in the UK - very nice flavours, especially the 20:03....that's after-eight flavour for any brits out there that know what they are ;)

I rotate between three box mods - two Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 (very solid and reliable) and one Smok XPro M80 Plus (rather long ramp-up but really long battery life)

They all seem to work very well no matter which mod/atty combo I use, although oddly the flavour seems a touch different between the two iTaste mods!

Anyway, I've rambled on enough, great to be here, look forward to chatting with some good peeps soon - happy vaping everyone:)

Hallo, dank uwel ufosnowcat, blij je te ontmoeten.
(I shall be travelling to Bruges later in the year, thought I would brush up on my flemish greetings :) hope I did ok!)
Welcome to the forum @bongobreak (from a Brit in France) :)
Hi, thanks Maytwin, or while I'm being adventurous....salut, merci Maytwin, enchanté :)
That's funny,. Norfolk is in the Southeast of this country too :) Welcome to the board.
Thanks suprtrkr, small world huh?:) I presume you're referring to Norfolk, Alabama?
I'm sure it's far more interesting than where I live, and certainly has better weather!!
Welcome aboard.
Thank you kindly sir :)

I was actually referring to Norfolk, Virgina, albeit this might be best described as "mid-Atlantic" rather than "Southeast." It's the second largest city in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and home to the world's largest naval base being, as it is, located at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay and Hampton Roads. I've never lived there, so I can't really comment on the interest or weather :)

I stand corrected - isn't the first time my geography has let me down! :D
The Norfolk here is actually a county, part of a larger set of south-eastern counties called East Anglia. Our main (only) city is Norwich, which is probably tiny by comparison - pop. approx. 135,500.
We don't have a naval base....we don't really have anything except fields and tractors!!:D
There is only one decent vape-shop in Norwich, where I buy my hardware - it's pretty rural :tumble:
Nice meeting you suprtrkr :)

Duly noted ufosnowcat ;) I'll stick to what I know, which is a sort of english!! :D

Very cool - I know Felixstowe quite well, I used to work there many moons ago, it's quite a sizeable, bustling port town - had a number of notable nights out there in my youth....but that's for another thread on a different webite!!;)

Nice meeting you vapdivrr :)

My parents lived in Norfolk for about 5 years when they were first married and my elder sister was born in Attleborough. They then moved back to Sussex (where I was born and bred) but I remember as a young child we used to go to Norwich occasionally to visit friends of theirs - used to stay in the Lansdowne Hotel :)

This is extraordinarily cool - over the years I've been involved in quite a number of forum sites covering a variety of subjects and discussions, and very, very rarely do I meet anyone (even from the UK) who knows anything about this sleepy little corner of England, let alone someone who has lived here.
(No disrespect to any of my fellow brits, but unless you live here, or have been here, it really doesn't register on anyones radar!)

I've been on this site for a day and already I've met three such folks....ok....maybe suprtrkr doesn't count, with it being Norfolk, Virginia :p but who's counting?! :D

An old girlfriend of mine from years back used to live near Attleborough, and I have lost count how many times I have driven past The Lansdowne Hotel....hmm....just doing the sums....twice a day for over thirty years....wow, is it that long?!
Anyway, thousands of times - never stayed there, but I know that frontage very well indeed!!

So, a big thank you to all for the warm welcomes, and for making and old country bumpkin feel at home.:)

Small world - though it's longer than 30 years ago since I was last in Norwich :D
