The cone on the Ego does have a purpose-it gives it a tighter draw. Something about blocking off the holes around the atty. Without the cone its draw is too airy. Plus, it keeps a leaky atty from dripping down your hand.

Buy you an eGo battery or two if you don't have one you can get one for 18-23 bucks... I don't use the stupid cone as it's purely cosmetic... much better than the regular 510 batteries.

howdy neighbors,my name is Ed and i live on the east side of Indy.Im 41 unemployed (10 months now) construction guy.looking for work! Im married with 2 stepkids (both out of the house).my wife and i have been off of analogs since november of 2007.I had smoked for 28 years.The want and need to smoke never has gone away,keeping a small depression in my psyche.I saw ecigs and right away knew it would be something to try or at least get our friends to start to keep them alive.I went and bought an ego set and a passthru(because i didnt want to wait for 4 hours to charge my batteries)and some juice.i fell in love with it,my depression is gone, i dont munch snacks all day,and i feel better.so far , we have converted one of her friends and with her taking hers to work and standing in the smoking area have found at least 3 more converts! so spread the word

Greetings!! I'm John from Jamestown. Purchased a DSE 801 in December but decided i didn't like to carry all of the "stuff" around so I made a bottom feeder. Now I only have one thing to carry. I've made two genisis attys which work great. I just need to put them in a neat case. I'm currently working on some 3.7V mods with a touch switch and LED. I've been mixing my own juice for a month. Vaping has been great and now trying to convert my wife. No luck yet. I just discovered this part of the forum yesterday thanks to Hoosiers sig.
