Alright folks so I have a simple question I need help with. I am thinking of purchasing the sx350 chip by YIHI. I had seen it for sale on eciggity and it said something about upgrading the wires to 16 gauge or higher if planning to upgrade the chip to 50 watts. Is that really necessary? I mean I would think if hey are making these things up-gradable then the wires already soldered rightfully should handle the wattage. Thanks for all the help.

I'd go with the sx 330 instead and have 100-150 watt capabilities then. But yeah, would strongly follow recommendations, if you are going to be pulling max amps through your circuits, yeah, melt down, black smoke pouring out the USB port, the slow cautious steps one takes toward the door, gently lying the mod in the dirt, ensuring no pet or loved one is near by, then doing the bomb blast bogie towards cover............... yeah, gets ones adrenalin and thought processes running in overtime for sure.

But hey, it's you skin, family and loved ones you have to worry about and not mine, do what you think is best, and.....

Thanks for the reply, So your saying the sx330 is capable of 100-150 watts? How would I go about making it push that much power? Is the 330 just safer than the 350?

Ok, if you are thinking of using 16g wire, you should know a little about ohm'slaw and how to go about making it push 100-150w. If you don't know, then if recommend you brush up on ohms law and practice safe vaping, or as safe as you can be at 150watts.
