Hello been reading and learning for two years here, and thanks to everyone for the advice and info. Have not felt the need to post or ask any questions because digging in and reading is easier for me. Just wanted to mention that on the news last night, the university of Arizona passed a campus wide ban on tobacco. But was very encouraged at the fact that they are not banning e-cigs, WOW maybe some encourageing progress is being made. Thanks again.

welcome and glad you joined!

my son just graduated from middle Tennessee state uni. the campus there went tobacco free a couple of years ago. after the dean was inundated with questions about e-cigs and he checked with the state they put large signs near entrance areas listing the specifics. all tobacco products including e-cigs/dip etc fell under the ban. you were allowed to smoke/vape/dip inside your own car with the windows rolled up. this was part of a ban that includes all state properties. i do however vape at state parks and the rangers have been pretty cool about it. i explain what it is and tell them i don't use nicotine ( which is pretty close to the truth :D ). they like the fact that there is no trash left behind. we'll just see how it goes from here.

The ban here was also all inclusive in the beginning, and a couple days later after apublic comment period they changed their policy on the e-cigs. They will still have special areas, but at least they reconsidered and are going to allow it. Maybe a start to some real understanding and critical thinking before knee jerk policy starting.

I've been somewhat worried about passing through airports for those who fly a lot, I feel the security probably will be a little tense regarding a steel tube with a high amp discharge battery inside of it... seems just like a flash light sure... but thats not exactly the case. Lol, I hope its not a big issue.
No problems. Just beware of filled tanks as they may leak as the plane is pressurized/de-pressurized.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome. I just saw the article in the AZ Daily star and now their saying you can vape anywhere outside on campus. Kudos to the U of A. Now if Pima county would wise up, they have anew anti tobacco rule that does not allow any form of tobbaco for county employees, and their going to start testing employees for nicotine I heard.
