Hello! I figured I'd take this chance to introduce myself. My name's Jerry and I'm a vap-head ("Hello Jerry") lol..
Oh wait.. wrong forum... (joking)
More then four years ago, a local place opened up selling 901 and 510 mini pen size ecigs and cartomizers and I was fascinated so it didn't take long for me to drop my 2 plus pack a day habit with the analogs. Both I and vaping have come a LONG way since then.. Along the way, every google search I would do concerning ecigs/vaping almost always led to this forum so I bookmarked it and lurked in the shadows literally for years cleaning whatever info I needed when I needed it.. Thanks to ECF and its members for that.
Im a 42 year old guy that works at the local wallyworld garage doing oil changes and tire work for the plethora of people that sift through there daily. I've done more then a fair share of collecting of different things and I love to tinker with a definite panache for re-purposing stuff thats broken or lost its original purpose. I'm definitely a long term vaper as frankly, I just enjoy all aspects of it. It's definitely on of my passions.

This said, if anyone wants to know more please feel free to ask and again Thank you for this forum!

Yeah, when the "big tobacco" buy out happened Nearly 3/4s of the Ky burley crop growers here took the Federal buyout money and sold off their tobacco lots and re-purposed their land, though a smallish percentage did keep their lots.
Concerning the smoke free status of this state, I've watched it spread like wildfire across the state and actually live in the number one most restricted county. The county health department that enacted the statute even decided offhandedly to add ecigs to the list as if they were the same thing. That Health Department meeting was a utter debacle. The local vap-store gathered up information and even had numerous of its regular customers (myself included), show up to the meeting with the intentions of giving our side of the argument only to be watch the board pass a quiet vote with not opportunity to rebut. Nearly a hundred folks walked out of there FUMING.. and I don't mean from vaping..lol

Hi Jerry. Nice to hear from you, and good for you being off of the cigs for so long! I'm a brand-new poster also, but far less time under my belt with vaping (only 2 weeks).

As an aside, what a farce of the Health Dept board resolution. Is that ruling just promulgated solely by the board (and not the legislature/local county ruling body)? I'm assuming, and hoping, that there is no office/body that could level any type of fine, etc. for personal vapers. Either way, that is indeed a joke. Hope its not causing you too much inconvenience.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks! Much appreciated!

@Cherokee1979... Yeah.. the whole process was a total farce. It was literally one of those "This is how it's gonna be" meetings dictated buy a bunch of appointees within the county.. total b.s. That said, the ever increasing number of pv users in this county have pretty much not paid attention to the ordinance, and as long as no one complains too much, it's simply not an issue for me/them. Supposedly it's handled exactly the same as if it were an analog, in writing, but not so much in practice.

@Wildcatgirl... You wouldn't happen to be a UK fan would you.. lol.. Think the more you educated and participate the more you'll come to enjoy the heck outta vaping, Thanks!

They pretty much did the same thing here in Nelson County. I feel your pain.
