Welcome to the forum, and congratulations to you both for doing this good thing for yourselves. You've gotten a lot of good technical advice about equipment, and it sounds like you can make a wise decision about it.

I just want to offer my sympathy to you: I briefly got a machine and rolled my own cigarettes when prices went up here due to taxes. It was indeed much cheaper, but I found I spent so much time running the machine and making cigarettes that I could barely keep up. It was smoke a cigarette, roll a cigarette! Also, the motions involved using the machine were really hurting my shoulder and arm.

I decided I was simultaneously killing myself smoking the cigarettes while crippling myself with the machine!:) So I adjusted my budget and went back to buying cigarettes.

Maintaining the PV's for yourself and your husband will be a piece of cake compared to rolling your own! Best of luck.

I have been making our cigs for almost 3 years. We started RYO when they started putting the "fire-safe" crap in the commercial cigs. Hubby was allergic to the "fire-safe" carpet glue. I can't wait to start vaping and hope that it helps us stop the cigs.

We RYO for over two years and the dread was so bad that I would roll just enough to get me through the next day in the evenings. I was a 2 PAD for over 30 years and was surprised that I was able to quit in three days. I know that it's different for everyone but we've had several in our family quit with similar results via vaping, just stick with it.

My buddy has the VTR and loves it. He uses both protanks and iclear 30s but likes the 30s more. Best of luck and stay strong!

Not even considering the iclear 30s was a plastic tank I immediately filled it up with new citrus juice. The tank was broke about an hour later and then in the trash. That's where plastic tanks belong, in the trash. IMHO.
