Hi there,

New member here. I've been vaping for about 6 months now and have been creeping this forum for about 3. Analog free for 5 months.

I figured I should join up so I can get some input for my next step up in gear.

I started vaping with the ego/pen style devices with stock tanks. Then moved on to the mpt3 still using the ego batts. Next up was the kanger evods(twice because they leaked and broke).
From there I moved on to a kanger emow. This sucker leaked like a sieve after 1 week (probably got a bad batch). Luckily I still had the receipt so I was able to trade it in for store credit and picked up a innokin vtr with the I taste 30s. This did the trick for a bit but I hated the innokin top burning coils.

My current set up is the vtr with a kanger aero tank and it's been working like a charm. First set up I've been happy with.
Now it's time to step up my game.... As some may know the vtr limits you to a 510 19mm diameter tank. I'm going to get out the dremmel kit, hack off the protective ring and grind it down so I can fit 22mm.

Now the real question is which RTA that has 22ml diameter should I go for? Leaning towards kayfun 3. The 4 is too wide as is the lemo.

Any other recommendations would be great.

Thanks,
Bzoo

Did your VTR not come with an adapter that slides in with 510s on top so you can use larger tanks? Also I believe you can buy a modified piece that enlarges the ring. Otherwise I'm not sure what to tell you, I used my iClear 30s' with it until I got my Nautilus, and used it with the extension pieces until I just recently upgraded to a new mod.

Also if there are any other Alberta based members on this forum, any recommendations on a good local B&M that will ship? Only have one here in the Hat and it is absolutely terrible (vaporhub) .
I've been ordering from vapexcape lately.
I would suggest the Joyetech Delta ll. It will be available shortly. It has been getting great performance reviews. You can buy prebuilt sub ohm coils that have adjustable juice flow. You can also get a rebuildable deck base for it. Use as a tank or a dripper. Welcome to ECF :)

Yeah the adaptor is pretty crappy, makes the device way to tall and it messes with the ohm reader the vtr has.
I haven't heard about a modified ring piece, I'll check it out. Thanks.
