Hello from a new vaper. Just got my first, new, shiny and beautiful PV :-)

I’ve been an analog smoker for… well, over 20 years. For the past few months I’ve watched the Blu commercials on TV and this sparked my interest in e-cigs. I wasn’t sure if the e-cig solution would work for me so just to give it a try I got 2 disposable Blu’s at a local gas station. Immediately this reduced my smoking from the usual 5-7 analogs to about 1 or 2. I looked promising but 2 disposables lasted me for about 3.5 days. As I wanted more info on the subject of e-cigs I began checking the internet and one of the searches brought me to this forum. Like a sponge I’ve been reading and absorbing as much info as I can for the past few weeks. Obviously Blu didn’t seem like a good solution anymore so after another week of reading the forum I finally decided to get a proper vaping rig.
I looked through dozens of vendors and number of options finally deciding to go with a set of eGo Twists and a pair Vivi Nova’s. One is actually the mini version. I still had few questions so I emailed Brian from The Veteran Vaper as he had everything in stock and at a reasonable price. First of all I have thank Brian. Very nice and super helpful guy. I even got a discount code so I quickly took a plunge and placed an order. Two hours later I got an email that my order is on its way.
Today the order arrived! Like a little kid I opened the box hooked up the batteries to the charger, filled the tanks with juice and patiently waited for the batteries to charge. Few hours later I took my first puff. Awesome stuff. Very happy with my decision but finally having a free moment I looked over all my new toys and it appears that Brian packed few extras Wow, excellent service, support, lightning fast shipping, discount and on top of that few extras. I’m sorry but I do have to give props to Brian and The Veteran Vaper.
Now, going back to the Blu’s for a moment I have to say that without their commercial on TV I probably would give them a try, I wouldn’t read about e-cigs, I wouldn’t have found this forum and I wouldn’t have my eGo/Vivi Nova’s in my hand now. No matter what we think about Blu’s they do serve their purpose and I’m sure I am not the only one who started with gas station e-cigs.

Welcome and Congrats on making the switch to ecigs. As I am sure you have already discovered (thru your research here) that you need to up your liquid intake a lot. Ecigs dries your body out big time. some get headaches, some get muscle cramps. Over vaping can also cause headaches, but you will feel sick to your stomach also. No worries tho, as you will adjust quickly. Let us know how you are doing.....

ps. The blu was my 2nd ecig....long before any commercials. So glad to see them now in stores and gas stations, for emergencies. lol

Thanks. I have so much fun trying all the flavors now and already I'm thinking about making my own liquid... hmmm, it's very tempting
