@https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/members/x_tina.359711/, VG is considered to be a little less reactive with mouth tissues, yielding a smoother vape, and PG is said to deliver more flavor from the juice. A 50/50 mix of PG and VG is pretty common among vapers to get the best of both worlds in flavor and vapor.

As others said, a mouth to lung style, as opposed to a direct to lung style, might help you vape without irritation until you get used to vapor. With mouth to lung you vape into the mouth and then inhale as you wish, and that lets you control how much you inhale and how much is blown directly out of your mouth without inhaling. With DTL you end up inhaling everything that comes off the drip tip into your lungs and that can be irritating for a new vaper.

Try both and see what works best. Good luck!
