Hello everyone,

New to vaping here. I started vaping 2 weeks ago on an ego clone. I quickly realized that while I loved it, I hated my equipment. I switched, and went with a Itaste VTR and an Evod2 tank.

I really enjoy it now. I was smoking 2 packs a day for approx. 17 years. Glad to see a community like this exists!

Quick question for everyone. With my VTR and Evod2 I hear I can get better taste dripping. What would be a good dripping setup for someone new to it?

Also I am a computer tech / engineer so I have no problems with coils and calculating ohms, watts, amps.

Thanks everyone !

Appreciated chipd.

the funny thing I notice about vaping is, the addiction now seems to be on mods, better flavor. A welcomed hand off from smoking cigs and chemicals.

I was thinking the same thing about what flavor I am missing with my vv v3. I knew I needed another device and hashed it through my mind between a K100 mechanical and an MVP 2.0. To be honest I have liked most of the juices I have tried with the vv with the exception of the black cherry. I can detect a slight hint medicinal flavor in that juice. I liked my vv so much that I ordered the MVP. I figure as much time as I spend at the B&M that I will more then likely get to try out a drip type of device.

I think you will love the MVP honestly. That is one step above my VTR and I have nothing but good things to say about itaste products. My wife uses the same VV that you have and also loves it. itaste products are built like mack trucks, might weigh a ton but built well.

Do you have any local vape shops to shop around in? Dripping IMO is a much better experience in terms of nicotine delivery and flavor for sure! You can do a simple Igo-L dripper (clone can be picked up for less than $20 in decent shops, and all day online) with a single coil for starters. Eventually you may want to go dual coils and learn more. Most regulated mods won't fire below around 1Ω so keep your builds above that and you will be fine. I find the 1.2-1.5Ω range is usually my sweet spot. As for the coil, a 28 guage kanthal with about 10 wraps will get you in the area. (test your Ω of course, this is just an estimate) and then wick it with a bit of organic cotton (a bag at CVS is under $3 and should last an estimated 47.6 years :D ).

Welcome to RDA's!! Now dig around these forums and read up on everyone's suggestions. Other good RDA's I am sure you will hear about include the Magma and Stillare. Both are favorites of mine. Also, the 3-D dripper gives you around a 2ml well below the spring-loaded deck that gives you the ability to have more juice loaded without having to drip as often.

to ecf NeoTrip. Congrats to you on quitting. Isn't it awesome? I am amazed by how much vaping has helped me and so many others. So much information and help here but the very best part of ecf is........the people. I fell in love with dripping soon after I started vaping. The flavors were so much more pronounced. I imagine that is why I ended up loving the reo grand because IMO it is the ultimate dripper. There are so many really good ones out there so good luck to you and happy vaping. :)
