Hey everyone, just joined and am mind blown with all the different e cig options. I finally decides after 15 years to give up analogs. In the past nothing has worked and the longest run I made prior was 7 days. Now here I am, 10 days in and loving it! I hope to learn and purchase some new equipment as I go. I currently am using a VX vaporz ego ce4. I have two batteries and 4 clearomizers. 3 are the standard ce4 style, the other an "HX" bottom feed style. I got some VX juice and was only mildly impressed. 24mg was far too much, but it got me by until yesterday. I purchased two bottles of "Pike" brand juice? Blueberry and cherry. I gotta say the stuff is vastly better than the VX. Also just got an order from Mt. Baker for strawberry, blueberry, peanut butter, banana split, grape, butterscotch in various VG/PG mixes. Anyways, kinda long for my first post but I greatly look forward to kicking the smoking habbit for something more appealing!

I'm here, when I'm here
Welcome to the forum and we're glad to have ya! There's a saying around here - "Back up your back ups". How true, how true. I, currently use a itaste MVP backed up with 2 - itaste vv v3's. MVP died and one of my v3's I forgot to charge. Good thing my 2 nd back up was ready to go. Just my :2c:

When you're ready, consider this - Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 iClear30 Kit :vapor:

Thanks for all the support! Ive read up quite a bit and have been hydrating a lot. I ordered several max VG vapes and, while the smoke produced is more similar to cigarettes, I like the throat hit some of the others produce. Anyone heard of Pike ejuice? I searched but found nothing. An MVP v2.0 is my next purchase. These egos are good, cheap vapors but I find myself trying to get as much out of them as I can. I just wanted something cheap until I learned more about it. Reading about Mods, cartomizers, clearomizers, atomizers, mechanical, VV, VW, ego, 510, etc really had my head spinning! Ultimately as long as it is reliable, and helps me stay off the stinkies I will love it. I already notice my sense of taste and smell coming back, I dont hack as much in the morning, and feel like I have more energy. Not to mention the money saved. So far I only have about $85 in it and have 9 different flavors of juice. If I make it thru another couple weeks Ill reward myself with an MVP and some i30s.

This coming tuesday marks 1 month smoke free! So to celebrate I ordered an itaste mvp 2.0 with iclear30, 3 kanger protank mini clearomizers, and a kanger protank 3 dual coil clearomizer. Now the hard part is waiting the 2 to 5 weeks shipping from greenhouse one. Hope my cheap egos hold out until then!

Good going! Although I also loved vaping from the time I started, and knew when I finally put down those cigarettes they were gone for good, I did have a bit of help reaching the 1-month mark: when I told my mom, on my 2nd smoke-free day, that I had quit smoking, she says, I'll give ya $100 if you make it a month... I knew that was money in the bank, so I said, ok... and she paid up! :D Now, just a bit past the 6-wk mark, and it's still great -- those cigarettes really are gone for good, this time! :thumb: Ain't it awesome?!!?

Welcome!!
Andria

Congrats on making the switch over :)
I used to live in the NW suburbs of Chicago myself, but in Tennessee now.
I started smoking when i was 13, and walked into a vape shop last october at 49..
The guy in there asked what i liked to smoke, then handed me an ego with a test tank that had evo krypton in it..
I was done with the lung hogs on the first hit.

It's so easy when you hit something that hits better and taste so much better than lung hog..

Those Ego's are pretty awesome i think, because they deliver what people need for starting out.
The MVP i think are a good move up to an even better vape, when ya just want a bit more kick in your step,as well as more freedom between charges;)

For me my biggest problem i have now is,trying to keep my .... out of the vape stores.
They are way more addictive for me than nic ever was :D

Well, treat those egos with care ;)

Great to see you make it past the first month without regression. And it's always a good idea to make certain you have plenty of elquid on hand, and it's nice to treat yourself to an upgrade if you can afford to do so.

Get a few more posts in, and have full access to the forums and then a world of information is at your fingertips. There are trials and tribulations ahead -- there always are -- so be prepared. There is actually a nice MVP Owners group thread in the VV APV subforum as well.
