The coils are "notch" coils (I think that is what they are called.) They actually are constructed from two pieces, and when you get your "new" coil it will come assembled and wicked and everything. However, once your coil's wick dies, (usually you'll kinda get a vast drop off in vapor production, not so much "burnt" (to me anyway) you can take the coil apart-- the top part screws onto the bottom part, which holds the wick and the wire. If you don't have an ohm's reader, well you can clean the coil (which most often is usually achieved by something called "dry burning" the coil, which means you remove whatever flecks of wick are left around the coil and just pulse the fire button gently on the mod (dry there is no eliquid on the coil) and it will eventually burn clean (you may have to swab away some gunk with q-tips or whatever, but essentially you will then have a coil which is clean and ready to be rewicked, which can easily be done by feeding a small piece of cotton or rayon through the coil, and then you screw the top back on and cut and trim your ends so you can use one coil several times.

Once the coil dies, you can, if you so choose, replace the coil itself and the wick, and that's slightly more complicated but even if you only rewick your coils you could get months out of them instead of wicks.

There are probably YouTube reviews you can find on how to do it. That might be useful.

@stols001
Super informative, thank you so much.
All this nomenclature seemed familiar and then I remembered that for the pro C device that @tailland suggested, he gave similar notch coils. Here is the link
Buy Products Online from China Wholesalers at Aliexpress.com
So can I use the clr on the pro C device as well? Then I guess that makes the pro C live eternally as I can recoil and rewick as needed!
And I did find a YT video on this.

@tailland @stols001 @Baditude @HazyShades @Letitia
Amidst all the ban hoopla I totally forgot about tracking my alie shipments !!
And lo behold, today the postman showed up with 2 packets - the pro C kit and the coils for them !! Yippee !! Finally a change of fortune. Yet to test them out for I am busy trying to complete my vaping shopping :D
And I checked my FT shipment of the charger - held by customs for unspecified reasons. But that is ok as the VP2 is available locally !! Great news, thanks to all ye gentlemen and ladies for getting me this far!

Now for the rest of my shopping gear. With @Baditude 's help I have managed to get the DIY stuff along with cotton and wire. So the workman in moi is ready :D. Though I do intend to take my time with learning all the stuff around RBA.
For atomizers, things are looking ok
1. Getting the atlantis 2 (and hoping the atlantis mega would come from heavengifts!!)
2. Augvape intake (supposedly newbie friendly) and Ammit 25 are the DL RTAs I am currently thinking of getting. @stols001 sorry, but I think I am too hooked onto DL plus the fact that I have 0.5 ltrs of 70/30 3mg or 6mg juice, MTL would require more juice purchase (am I correct?!?! :D)
3. Debating on whether to get a crown 3 given that I am going to get at least 4 tanks (including the cascade but excluding the mega, that is up to the Gods !!)

Now one last question bugging me - should I get another mod? The Cylon is coming on the 5th but given that I am now TANK heavy, do I get another mod, just in case one goes kaput.

Also as per @tailland 's suggestion I am getting some BF RBA coil heads to keep my pro C kicking for awhile!

All in all - I am in decent shape right? Feeling somewhat relieved now, would be more so when I make all the purchases :)

If you only have one mod, then yes you should have at least a backup. All tanks and no mod would leave K an unhapper vaper. :(

Agreed sir. Something low key this time. Dont want that same old mod exercise again :D
How is the Asmodus Reborn (4.8K) or the Minikin boost (4.1K)?

Or maybe invest in a single battery mod - the eleaf PICO 25 is there for 3.15K
I would personally invest in another budget friendly regulated mod even though you do have the Cascade tube for a backup.

Budget friendly is a pipe dream here. They come to a cost where I end up considering the dual mod itself.
I think I can get a deal on the asmodus reborn say for around 4.3K or so. That is a reliable mod right.
Otherwise I have to start afresh to look at single battery mods :(
I don't have a Reborn but it and the Minikin 1.5 are spoken of well and tend to last. I think you would be happy with either.

My positive source of encouragement always :)
Thanks, will work with the vendor to see if I can knock some bucks off of the 4.8K
Will still look around for some single battery mods but I dont think I am going to get lucky !
When shopping for devices look at things like quick fire such as .15 seconds or less and good battery doors, secured 510 pins.

Kindly pardon my ignorance, but what exactly does quick fire mean?
When you hit the fire button there is no lag, some mods are bad about that. Usually the cheaper brands. Asmodus devices fire quick as does Smoant so you're good with those two.
