Good to hear. You don't need to marry your batteries to the mod, tho some do. Just keep the pairs together and try to rotate them fairly evenly. I find it more convenient to just order batteries every two years. Might be more like 18 months for you since you don't have as many. Keeping 2 sets for each device is a good rule of thumb be they single or dual. I just ordeed a couple new mods which I suspect will end up added to daily rotation so need to make another battery order myself.
No not all regulated are parallel.The spects will tell or usually the yt reviewers mention it. I personally don't worry about it; my batteries live in a rack that keeps my rotation fairly constant. Glad you found a good deal on your batteries, the more you have the fewer cycles they go through the longer their life.@Letitia
A mini side table order along with the mods - you can sport your latest collection there
I actually do have 8 batteries. I got some decent deals on some LG HG2s, so I just counted and I got 8. I just need to set a routine once I start using the reborn and the RTA tanks. All in due time !
All our mods are parallel battery connections right, so the order does not matter right? Read in some battery safety site that rotating batteries in series helps prolong their life !
@stols001
Thanks Anna, means a lot of encouragement for me coming from you![]()
Actually, most multiple battery, regulated mods are wired "in series". In regulated box mods, there should be an obvious + and - for the battery orientation in the battery compartment or battery compartment door.All our mods are parallel battery connections right, so the order does not matter right? I keep my batteries in these racks; I have a 6 bay charger and usually just wait until I have 4-6 that need charging. I just make sure I put them in the racks by pairs that yes are labeled. I rewrap my batteries when new (Sony and Samsung wraps are pretty thin), I put brand-name-date on each label. I replace every two years whether they need it or not.@Letitia
Do you actually label them or something or they come off in some order? Looking for some tips in terms of maintenance !
Just a plain avery label under the wrap. You need to have a stash of battery wraps and insulators (round ring on top under the wrap), knicks do occur from time to time. You don't have to wrap if there are no knicks; I just prefer the better quality wraps from Liion Wholesale where I buy my batteries from. You can get them from ebay pretty cheap. @Mowgli has a link to some good ones. The rack I use is from ebay, great seller. Not sure how ebay works for you.@Letitia
That is sweet. Will get around to something like that. Is rewrapping necessary? Also that is just plain paper that is acting as the label right? Dont want to stick something bad onto a battery![]()
Only when either the insulation wrap or the insulation ring show evidence of damage. I take particular care of all my batteries and in 7 years of vaping I've never had to rewrap a battery.Is rewrapping necessary?
Thank you! No, I don't keep track, but I imagine I have helped out hundreds of folks over the years. I'm retired, so helping out on ECF is a very enjoyable and satisfying past time for me. I view my teaching and helping new vapers as paying-it-forward just like so many before me did for me when I started out. And I am still learning after all of these years.@Baditude
Out of curiosity you guys keep a count of how many noobs like me you help out all the way. Your constant help is so motivating that I don’t see anyone quitting halfway with the kind of attention you guys shower. Just phenomenal! Just felt like saying that out loud![]()
Newbs like you are a pleasure to help; you listen, read, and ask intelligent questions. Added bonus...you don't whine.@Letitia
Ok, no clue what an Avery label is!
That dispenser does not ship to India!
And not a single dispenser available locally!
Damn!
@Baditude
I shall strive to achieve that. I do have some cases. That may help me out. I still got some more of the battery page reading to get done. Thanks for posting those links again!

I was thinking more along the lines of a 10pk.All of these insulators & wraps cost me less than $30 total inc shipping.

I just used some of each over the weekend. Best $30 investment ever.
