Just wanted to say hello

Been eyeballing e-cigs for a while but just wasn't sure if I was going to take the leap. Then the new NC law took effect this month and I saw the free offer from knightsticks (I know about the catch just found out after I ordered and will be spending countless hours on the phone I am sure to cancel the subscription). Anyways, got the order yesterday and was actually impressed with the vapor and nic satisfaction.

Still don't know if I want to shell out big bucks on one or not so I am thinking aout the blu as both the starter kit and the cartridge prices seem reasonable.

Anyways, I plan on using this in every public smoking banned place and see what happens. LOL I doubt it will be an issue as this one has a blue led.

Welcome to ECF - lots to read about here! Personally I got the 510 from Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. (the nobox kit) that got me started and it was only $35 and really fast shipping. 510s are popular as are the V4L 2 piece models (vapor king).
Make sure you do lots n lots of reading before you buy and when you DO decide on one, make sure you get a couple of juices from different palces so you can get an idea of the differences (good juices will make your PV experience a whole lot better!)

Hi I'm in Asheboro NC. I also started with the 510 from cig not. Then I ordered one for my hubby and then my assistant. They are now smoke free as well. I would do some more research on this site before I made a purchase if I were you. Ms.T, Nhaler, and Myfreedomsmokes all have great juice. The ban is what mad be start mt e-cig journey as well I have not had a real cigarette since New Years Eve. Good luck

Welcome d6racer! Another one from NC (just north of Raleigh). I went with Chris at Home | My Freedom Smokes and spent right at $100 for my initial order (510 starter kit, USB passthrough, and sampler pack with the "smoke" discount). One day turn around and getting quite a few "extras" made the value excellent!

You should read the posts about the Janty eGo. IMHO it will be the only PV you will ever need. It is that good!

i would DEFINITELY stay away from blu, their shipping time sucks, customer service sucks, and the product is mediocre. i bought a volcano (same as blu, but diff company) and their customer service is way better, and shipping time is much faster. the product is still mediocre though. go with a no box 510, its a little bigger but its cheaper, and a much better product.

I hope you find a PV you like. And then it'll be interesting to see what kind of reaction you get using it in the smoke-free places. The blue LED ought to reduce any trouble. I wonder what the results have been. There's a lot to read here.

Please be careful doing this in smoking banned locations. It may have a grey area around the law, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...(You get the idea)

We are heavily outnumbered, if we make people upset, even AFTER we inform them, it won't make a difference. Offending people is just too easy, but yet those same folks go home and watch murder movies with damn near pornographic scenes...go figure.

Have fun with it though. I am, unfortuantely(?), a fairly cautious person. I was when I was smoking, and I am when I'm vaping. I've had limited success in explaining to people(non smokers/antismokers) what the device is all about. Some accept the explaination. Others, just turn their nose up, remember, it's a duck.

Also from NC here... and like you, I probably spent weeks reading all the "opinions" that other folks offered. My suggestion is to just, "go for it!" You will never know until you have taken the plunge.

Personally, I decided on the 510 and have had less than a half a pack of analogs since the 510 arrived over three weeks ago.
