Hello from NC

I feel strange offering a welcome to a new user as I am also quite new, but Welcome anyway! LOL

I am in Charlotte and was disgusted when the new laws went into effect here. I sure never expected to see such a ban in this state!

I started off with the Smoke51 Duo kit and because I like the two-piece setup better than a three-piece, I have decided to stay with the E9 equivalent and/or the kr808D-1. They are just easier and more convenient for me.

I found some splendid juice at Tasty Vapor--in fact, today I received my first order from them and am quite happily vaping away on their number one bestseller, Atomic Fireball. It is beyond awesome!

I think that everyone has to make their own choice about what style of e-cig they wish to use, because just as with flavors, choices are always subjective. It depends on what you want from your e-cig experience.

Myfreedomsmokes is wayyyy too expensive. Their car to USB can't be used for a passthrough! Doh!

I have the Joye 510. From two packs a day to zero analogs for seven days

Still get some strong urges but they pass cause I just vape like hell. Using 18 mg until my 24 gets here but will reduce over time to zero and quit vaping too

Suggest if you go with the 510 you get a non-inline batt passthrough at Electronicnixstix. It's the only one I can find so far like it or as good.

Yeah for NC ers. I went with the 510 and have been really happy. Yes, It works!!! Now I am just trying to figure out the driving/commuting and vaping thing, as I am soon going to crash or get pulled over for dripping while driving (bad cat, bad, bad)

Welcome d6racer! Another one from NC (just north of Raleigh). I went with Chris at Home | My Freedom Smokes and spent right at $100 for my initial order (510 starter kit, USB passthrough, and sampler pack with the "smoke" discount). One day turn around and getting quite a few "extras" made the value excellent!

On my fourth day and could not be happier!!! (and healthier)

Chris is great and also in Charlotte! Very close to you!
Please choose your starter carefully as you may find yourself needing a little better model in a very short time. There are lots of inexpensive ones to choose from. I would personally stick to the suppliers on this forum. I had a couple of not so good experiences when I first started and am so thankful that I found this forum! Good luck to you.

I am not from Charlotte but I was there once.

I would highly suggest you go with a Joye510 over a blu. I have a Magna and a Joye and love both. You can get spare parts from many places so if there is a sale you can take advantage of it. I agree you should try flavors from various vendors as they do taste different.

I am glad you made the decision to vape...good luck and keep us posted.

I purchased mine from cignot. A lot of other people have spoken highly of them, they were certainly very accommodating when I wanted empty carts instead of the prefilled with Marlboro flavor. They were cheap, $35 for two joyes, no box kit. Ended up getting one for myself and a pink one for my wife.
