Finally decided to sign up after a long time of lurking the forum and now I can finally (sorta, until my noob status gets lifted) interact with everyone. I started smoking back in '04 and started vaping on and off in '09 with a DSE901. I stopped because I thought I had killed the atty after trying to clean it. Also because that thing was pretty terrible, carts.. bleh. I continued with regular analogs up until '10 until my mind just couldn't handle it anymore and I would have a physically negative reaction to smoking a cig. I would literally gag after about 6 puffs. Later that year I decided to try again with vaping and picked up a couple new 901 atties and some eliquid and finally started getting the hang of it even though it was a terrible system. My last cig was back in May of '11 during a bbq after I had been off of them for 6 month and I only got a 1/4 of the way in before I started having those negative reactions again and just tossed it.
My 901 eventually gave up on me and it was time to give up on it. I got myself an ego starter kit and now I've moved into rebuildables with an IGO-L dripper. All I gotta say now is that my eliquid has never tasted this good.
