Hi everyone,

I just made the switch to vaping after smoking 2 packs a day for 19 years.. been a little tough but Im really trying to stick with it. My girlfriend made the switch also to be supportive of me which was really cool. Turning 30 in a few weeks and looking forward to a better life.

I started with a Nicstick 510 elite kit last week, I like their 24mg menthol flavor but after 2 days realized the 510 batteries were not going to cut it & the pre-filled cartridges dont last long. Their liquid bottles are a bit on the expensive side compared to others Ive seen. So Saturday I stopped by eliquidplanet to pick up an EGO kit for when Im at work & a BB vaporizer (huge battery) to keep at home. Also picked up some of their menthol NPT 24mg liquid but the flavor is not what I was hoping it would be.

Any recommendations for a good menthol liquid? has to be 24mg strength. I smoked Kool Milds for the last 10 years so that would be what Im trying to emulate.

Also can I add any flavorings to the NPT liquid to make it more minty? I bought 2 15ml bottles so Id like to use them if I can.

I ordered some Ice menthol from goodprophets too but Id like to try a bunch before I settle on one.

Welcome. Glad to have you. Congrats on making the switch.
There are many many ejuice vendors. At the top of this page is a link to forum vendors. Loads to choose from.
Not too sure about the kool liquid but I know that freedomsmokeusa.com has a newport flavor that is spot on. They are an excellent vendor and list a phone no. on their site. They welcome calls and are happy to answer questions.
juicyvapors.com is another good juice vendor. as is bluemistvapors. These are just some of the ones I have tried. And liked.

I smoked analogs(cigs) for almost 40 years. and I made the switch one and a half yrs ago. Personally, I have gotten away from the tobacco flavored juices but I understand the need to try and find one that is close to what you are used to.
When you start to breathe better and get your taste buds back, you will be suprised at what you will want to try. lol

I wouldn't look any further than VaporCast Store. They are said to be the kings of everything menthol, I thought their juices were great but I can't say how well they'll compare to Kools. Their "Pro Sauce", menthol drops you can add to any juice, are said to be able to "fix" any droopy bad menthol.

Welcome, congratulations, and kudos to your girlfriend!

Sugar and Spice is exactly right about Freedom Smoke USA in Tucson, they are great people to do business with (very helpful and friendly). And as far as their Newport flavor juice, my mother smoked menthol cigarettes for almost 50 years (Salem/Kool/Misty) and after trying several different juices, the Newport menthol is her favorite.

I don't want to put a damper on your parade here but you are asking for a good menthol. I too smoked analog menthols and now I can't stand it. I find myself liking RY4's for an all day vape and for other times I like caramels and coffees. You may find your tastes changing so don't be afraid to try others. Many vendors offer sample packs. Its ok to have 47,000 bottles of different stuff. I have a local vendor who takes care of my needs that you may like. Try Springvapor.com

thanks for the warm welcomes everyone.. just checked this thread and was not expecting so many replies.

The Ego/Riva is really working out nice for me.. Ive been using it since 7am Monday & the battery finally died at 2am Tuesday.
