Been reading the forums for about a week now trying to learn about electronic cigarettes. Must say I found some great info on this site and made my first purchase based on reviews here. I got a Janty Kissbox Classic as my first and just purchased a DSE 901 to back it up. Got the Kissbox 3 days ago and havent had a regular cigaraette since. Ive been a Marlboro red smoker for 30 years now at 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day and am looking forward to parting ways with those now that I have a new way to smoke!;) Anyway just wanted to interduce myself and thank you all for the wealth of knowledge on here to help along us noobies.:D

Hi, I'm new here and also and an ex-florida resident. I hear it been really cold there. You used to smoke 1 1/2 - 2 packs a day, about how many cartridges are you using a day? I just ordered an Intellicig Evolution and am waiting for a couple more weeks for them to get more. Still have urges to smoke regular cigs?

Midnight--prefilled cartridges do not last long--I was using 4 carts a day. More cost effective to buy blank cartridges and purchase e-liquid so you can fill your own. Johnson Creek sells e-liquid and blank cartridges as well as puresmoker--Happy Vaping--Sun:)

Im using about 1 1/2 to 2 cartidges a day so far while at work for most of that time. I'm on the road alot during the day so I can smoke fairly often. I had cut down to 5 to 10 cigarettes a day trying to quit using Chantix so my nicotine levels are down. My problem is I enjoy smoking and dont want to give it up. My lungs seem to have other ideas in mind though.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!:)

I read that they last the equivalent to 5-7 cigs realisticly. Not the 20 that most advertise. Do you find this to be true? I ordered 25 refills with my e-cig and plan to refill them with JC juice.

The prefills are a joke unfortunatly--they come dried out many times right out of the box (I think shipping in the cold weather does not help)--But I was going though them like crazy till I wised up and bought the e-liquid and the blanks. See www.johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com and www.puresmoker.com Hope that helps--Sun

Yeah its nice not to have to sit out on that cold linai tonight and be able to smoke in the house!!

I had not smoked in the house for 3 years before I got "back in from the Heat" or "cold" with tonights weather till I started vaping--no smell. no yellowing of walls, no nothing but vaping in the house!!!! And no garbage from anybody about doing it. Anyone that says they can smell the vape is blowing me smoke now and gets the boot right out the door!!! Happy Vaping--Sun

Ha my Grandparents live in Punta Gorda (I'm in MA), and all the names of places you guys are mentioning are familiar. My sister lived down there for a couple years, a couple years back. She used to go to (and I went when I was down there) to that bar at Fishermans Village. I forget the name but I liked the gator bites there, heh.
Ah that would be Harpoon Harrys. I visit there every so often. One of the few bars you can actually smoke at cause its partially outdoors.
