Welcome Cassey! I wouldn't go for a high-volt mod right away. IMHO, its best to pick a model that has a lot of vendors for parts and info here. Once you learn the ropes and understand your particular needs for vaping, and there is no way to completely predict these in the beginning, then think about enhancing your vaping experience...if you want. I use a 510 exclusively, and I have modded my carts (almost required for the 510), but have no need for higher-voltage.

I make all my own juices from high-nic unflavored juice, VG, a little water or vodka to thin, and flavors (Loranns, Capella are both good and widely used here). Filling your own carts saves huge money, and its like cooking making your own juices, although you can always buy flavored juices from vendors wide a wide variety of nic levels, vehicles (PG or VG), and flavors. Getting a range of nic levels initially will help in seeing what level works for you...and this level can change throughout the day. I start out at higher nic, but end the day with low nic.

Have fun! Its quite the worthwhile learning journey.
