Congrats Chooky
Thanks for the update
vape on friend

Well i havent quit, but i am only doing 3 analogs a day, so that at least 17 cigarettes i am not smoking everyday. Also when i did this i told myself i would do no more the 5 day so i am happy for now, and plan to slowly cut it to morn / evening, then later just mornings. Its not too tough either & only about 1 in 5 taste as good as the vaps & sometimes the anologs just taste a bit nasty .... i am surprized how much vapor these have and honestly the amount of nicotine they deliver for me

i got these juices Ry4, watermelon, expresso shot, white peach, blueberry, peach tobbaco, menthol & sweet virgina. I want to try more juices but i got 150ml as it stands now, minus the 20ml i have probally done. i got a sampler & ry4 sets of 5 cartos ry4 (carmally and for me unlike others not my fav but its growing on me), country (i guess supposed to MB copy but that was fav of tobacco's, freedom (american spirit copy?) & 555? The tobaccos really are not my favs but ill use em up. I did order some country juice too. i been refilling them with either menthol or ry4 & sometimes i add a drop or two of the exprosso .... I really like the Watermelon which surprizes me .... Anyhow, i am using a combinations of carto's CE3's & i have one clearomizer tank (i dont trust it turn upside down but it vaps good for home use) ... i like the CE3's the best, they have the best flavor, not to messy to fill and have not leaked for me. When i finish up my next carto, ill probally pull out he filler and use it for an atomizer.

Very happy with my battery's, they got lots of Voltage and dont seem to run down. i can use my big X2 & 78 interchangeably. I love the Volt stuff & I will highly recommend it to anyone. I could go on and on about it but i know everyone has there favorites and i think its most important each person is happy. Thx Bullette.

:2c:

I love the Volt. I love the cool PCC available for it (charging case). I have never owned one, and I want one very badly.

I love my VMax. It's quirky, generally unreliable, and awesome.

I love the ProVari V2. It's arguably the best power source on the planet; beautiful, ultra-reliable, great-performing, solid as a rock, American-made.

I like kGo and eGo constant-voltage batteries for what they are. Solid, dependable, well-performing constant voltage batteries.

There are many different shapes and sizes of power sources (I like the term "power source" as opposed to the [absurd IMO]
"(P)ersonal (V)aporizer and "(A)dvanced (P)ersonal (V)aporizer"), and they fill many different niches. The Volt and Bloog seem to be the two best ciggie-look-alikes, but as such, they are limited in their capabilities - particularly, battery life and lack of variable voltage. The kGo, Joyetech and other eGo and Riva are among the best eGo-class constant voltage power sources, but as such, they are limited in their capabilities - particularly, lack of variable voltage.

There are many, many variable voltage power sources out there; the Provari V2, the Buzz Pro 2, some of the Reo bottom feeders, the Lavatube and all its incarnations like the Apollo SS VTube (great device IMO), the somewhat unproven but awesome Smoktech VMax (I have four of the originals), and that other 'animal", the variable-wattage Darwin.

There is also the relatively new, quite inexpensive, very reliable, and great-performing Joyetech eGo-C Twist; variable between 3.2 and 4.8 volts for an optimum vape on a fairly wide range of coil resistances and juices, easy to use, and only about $22 for a 650mah (milliamp hour, meaning it will put out .65 amps for one hour straight).

Given what the typical smoker has been spending per year on cigarettes, and given the very high stakes involved regarding failure to stop smoking, I agree with the many reviewers who think that the Twist is a valuable part of anyone's "arsenal", regardless of experience level or amount of equipment already amassed. It is what I'm vaping on right now, as my VMax's sit and pout.

Please watch these videos, and tell me what you think.

Here is a thread that explains why the Joyetech eGo-C Twist is indeed IMO a "game-changer":

And lastly, PLEASE read this thread from last night where I give some very specific recommendations:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/321209-brand-new-here-many-questions.html

Short version:

(3) Joyetch eGo-C Twists, 650mah (bare minimum of two plus a spare)
(2) Joyetech chargers (backup, backup, backup)
(1-5) Vivi Nova 3.5ml Version 2.5 tank/atomizers (they come with three atomizers of varying resistances)

Juice. Lots and lots of juice. 12-18mg, 80/20 PG/VG is a good starting point.

Feel free to ask me any questions, including "What is your cell phone number?". I will mentor you for free if you'd like. This is not rocket surgery.

John i got the Volt and i am very Happy .... i may get $3 dollar 808 to 501 adaptor someday and try out the viva nova some day. But for now i am just getting Juice. For me personally i am super happy with my volt. My X2 does about everything a twist does except vary the voltage, and i only been vapin 5 days not sure i need it ... i definitely would rather have more juice or try making some DIY liquid 1st ... I know ohms law Power=VI & V=IR so reduce em to one equation and u have Power = V^2/R which is heat. LOL, i am was a propulsion engineer, thats not rocket science but its jet science which is close. Anyhow its nice u can vary it, again i dont know i need to do that .... if ur asking for a recommendation i like a volt starter kit, an X2, some sort of fluid holders in addition to cartomizers ... if ur just trying to help me get something thank you but i am stocked and i am happy u like ur system, thats what most important.

I may need help if i DIY juice tho, i been reading prices on Nicotine, VG, PG, & flavoring. I also have been reading on safety and how to test it.

chuck, if you are still dealing with the few analogs a day deal, you can try this... get your favorite flavor in the next highest mg level. I had to do this many moons ago to get over the trigger hurdles, like after meals, first smoke, when drinking. The rest of the time you can simply just use the level you normally use. It was odd when i was told to do so, but the little extra bit of nic at those times for me is what really helped kick it all.

You don't need variable voltage. It will just make your vaping experience more enjoyable, and increase your chances of success in ridding yourself of cigarettes.

Please don't become a "Voltie".

I am not a "Twistie". I am a "Variable Voltage-ie". Whatever variable voltage device you end up with is fine by me.

Write now all my fluid is 24mg .... i smoked 40 years marboro reds and newports, so i am getting plenty of nicotine ... Ill be honest i bought my system with no time tables to quit at this time just keep reducing. When i started lookin into vapin it was not to quit, it was to have a way to make it though work without breakin company policy. i have had some pretty good quits before that lasted months ... ... so what i am trying to do is get it so i prefer vapin .... this isnt goin to happen over night ... maybe i am nuts but thats my thoughts, .... I am well ahead of my timetables so i am happy. (5 or less a day).

well then good work... i made my switch to quit analogs, while failing on the patch and gum... so i had to push myself to like it... in almost two years of vaping, i have only smoked 3 days(nights that i dont remember much of except the evidence that was left behind)

just keep at, one day you will just randomly think to yourself... hey i havent had a single cig today, and then you will get this real feel of accomplishment
