Hi everyone,

My name is Zach, I am from Hawaii, and I am a new vaper. I thought I made an introductory post but apparently not

I just received my Bloog today after reading and lurking this forum for a while and I must say I am quite impressed. I had already done some research on it that I was already fairly certain I was going to be satisfied with the product.

This is my first PV and the vapor production is nice, the mint carto's I bought are a bit much, I'm not really fond of the minty taste, so I will be buying a different flavor and maybe some juice. The 5-sec cutoff is the other thing I had a concern with, not a major one but I thought if i remember reading correctly these new batt's were supposed to have a 7-sec cutoff.

I wanted to ask you Bloog vet's a few questions if you folks didn't mind answering them.

How long does a cartomizer typically last before it needs juice/the carto itself needs to be thrown away?

What is the largest batt this mini pcc can hold cause it looks like a 75mm would fit in the charge section.

Anyway thanks for reading and I appreciate the comments/help/feedback.

:toast:

Welcome to ecf. I don't know much about your model but if you don't get your answers in here you can check out forums that are model specific. You will need 5 post and an hour wait to be a full member and then you can post in other forums. Good luck and hopefully it will keep the tobacco at bay for your.

Hi and welcome. I am fairly new to ecigs myself. I use an e-go so I can't answer any specific questions about the bloog. I have been using the same 2 cartomizers for about 3 weeks. After my initial first couple of days I built a tank, syringe mod, for mine and use it almost exclusively and the other cartos occasionally so I can't answer how long between juicing it. These things vary so much depending on the user, manufacturer, etc.

Someone with more experience than I will come along and help you out.

Good luck to you.

sup big dog. not sure on the refills ymmv . But the cartos should last up from 3 days to a week I think

Not sure what ymmv stands for. But you think 3-7 days before I need to throw the carto away? Or refill?, sorry.

if you like the bloog check out the volt Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | Wholesale Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarette | Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette , you may notice there similar the ppc is similiar, thats because there the same thing the volts a little cheaper

Wow those are very similar! The price is a bit cheaper and they have free shipping, hm. Was a comparison done against the bloog vs. this volt one?

Thanks azplumber, hopefully I will never pick up an analog again. Yeah I initially was trying to post in the bloog section but I realized I need to post here first now.

And wow you guys are fast. Thanks for the prompt replies.

Cheers

i use the volt cartos which many people including myself say are the same as the bloog, min usually ned a top off after about 30 - 45 minutes of chain vaping. and as fair as how long they last i have had so go almost a month if properly cared for

Oh wowow, almost an entire month just refilling the juice in a single carto? Is there a difference between pre-filled and blank carto's as far as life time.

nothing really but i used those you may wanna try gotvapes fluzomizers there my main vape on my 808, btw thats what the bloog and volt are kr808d-1's. not really any difference between pre filled or dry. if you end up being like me lol i have like three packs of un opened volt prefilled carto's an un opened box of fluxomizers, lol the list goes on. i don't usually switch up flavors very often so i use one or two carto's until they die. The main thing of a carto is keeping them wet and never vaping them dry. and to answer your first question second lol, i belive grim green did a review of both but i would have to say unless someone found out differently that the volt and bloog are just copies of each other.

edit: In fact if you ever need to you can order plain jane 808 battery's from like madvapes.com and they will work with all your carto's

ymmv = Your Mileage May Vary. When you see a dotted line under some letters hover your mouse over it and an explanation for those letters will appear. example- PV, ECF, PG, VG

I never let a carto run dry or even near dry. I keep them damp so they don't singe.

On my main everyday carto I use a plastic or delrin drip tip instead of the endcap (from LiteCigUSA.net - the plain clear colored plastic or the delrin, shorter than those Blogo ones). I use thin clear juices (PG w/ 20% or less VG, SMokelessImage juice are 80PG/20VG, Vapor4Life WOW juice seems like 90PG/10VG ot thinned 80PG/20VG). I can look at the stuffing and if it has gone white it could take some juice. I look beofre putting a new battery on, before leaving the house, or any time I think I've been vaping too long without adding juice. I also pay attention to the taste/volume or vapor - if it gets light or the taste fades or tastes off at all, or if there is the slightest bit of bitter, I add juice. I can get 7 days use out of a Bloog carto vaping 2-2.5ml per day. (ofr me that is actually 2 weeks vaping 1/2 that amount per day because I vape the Bloog carto 1/2 the time and a 510 1/2 the time)

If you singe a carto, it may still be Ok for a tobacco flavor but it can ruin a sweet flavor since bitter cancels sweet.

Also - I only use manual batteries - harder to damage or kill with juice leaks, easier to get a good hit. And for testing juices, you can use a manual Bloog battery, a standard resistance DSE901 atomizer and 901 drip tip to test juice - don't dirty cartos testing juices. You can get the atomizer and drip tip at LiteCigUSA.net (same drip tip I use as a mouthpiece on the carto)

For me it would be a week to toss the carto. Refills every 30 min. maybe but when I used cartos I just always topped them off, pretty annoying but they stayed wet. Now I use carto tanks and you refill 'em every day or three depending on how many you have in rotation. ymmv means your mileage may vary
