This Xmas, despite not really smoking, I got a Gamucci Micro as a gag gift but elected to have a go anyway. I was amazed when I saw this community - I am into PC modding and minor electronics but the fact that these little things can be upgraded is amusing to me.

Anyway, I lurked a bit and saw that Gammuci is generally hated. I've been trying to find out if the Micro is compatible with other brands' cartridges and I may eventually try some modding. Right now, however, I am new to this and welcome constructive suggestions. By reading posts on this forum, I think that it is a 401... whatever one of those may be.

I don't want to spend a lot on it, but maybe just some nice flavours of cart?

LoL - Love the thread title. *shuns*

I can't find the information in the forums right now to verify the model number for you. I do know those will use DSE103 carts. Not sure if the Gamucci Micro is actually a 103 though. Maybe someone else can give you a quick answer, or I'll try to hunt it down again later.

Anyway, I'm working on a review of the SS Choice No. 7 Micro, which also uses those same cartridges. Even if the Gamucci you have is not the exact same model, I think it's pretty similar as far as the basic design. So, I'll try to get that up later today & it may be somewhat helpful.

Good luck - RR

Thanks for the reply.

I'm having a little trouble understanding all the detail here - I preume that the cartridges for a mini e-cig will not fit in a larger model, or vice-versa... is there any way of checking if the Cigstar refills from Electric Cigarette Boutique would fit the Gamucci, for example? I see posts here using model numbers rather than brands, so are they all similar?

Unfortunately, I cannot offer any suggestions of what is compatible with your gamucci, but I will tell you that most e-cigs are NOT compatible with other styles. Yes, there is some rebranding that goes on, and occasionally some manufacturers use the same connectors, but by and large, most won't even fit with one another.

The common opinion among people who have had gamucci's is that it's not worth it to buy replacement parts- just go buy a new e-cig.

Again, sorry I can't give you the answers you seek, but I hope you won't give up on e-cigs for lack of info, one way or another :)

Hey, I'm the one who I think suggested it might be a 401... I think this is wrong now...errr, I'll find that post and change that if I can. I have a Micro as well, it's my back up...That is when my other back ups(all 510s) have failed or are dead...

The micro isnt really so bad, but it isnt the kinda thing that's really going to show you the best that ecig vaping has to offer. First off, get yourself some blank 103 carts, score some Tasty Vapor strawberry cheesecake 35%VG works pretty good, and get at it. The atty in the Gamucci Micro is really tempting to dip, but I'll tell ya, it looks like it might get into the batteries and caust all kinds of hell, mostly do to the fact they're automatics. If you could score up some solid manual batteries, I really might not have much of a complaint, short of being to expensive against the Gamucci. The batteries seem to last a fair ammount of time, though I've heard they DIE(indeed, as in forever) at an early age.

Keep me posted as I'm amused as to what I might be able to use my over priced, under featured, horribly reviewed e-cig for as well.

I'm kinda with the above poster though, disreguard everything I've just said, log onto Cignot and spend the best $35(no box 510 kit) you'll ever spend on ecig gear!

Ah, that's what I was concerned about. I have a lemon.

Oh well. The fact that I don't have an addiction means that it is disposable, and therefore SCIENCE can be done without me needing to buy a spare. I have some theories about this device that I don't think I can mention here.

PS I do like the look of the 510 matt black with green LED... it would make me look like a Borg hipster. Perhaps in the future.

Sadly, 103 attys/batteries won't work with it. I believe you're stuck going to Gamucci but the cost (OMG! Least expensive I can find is $20.99 Gamucci America | Gamucci Electronic Cigarette Micro Atomizer ).

Really, you'd be better off using it until it dies out, selling off anything that still works (in our Classified section) and getting a good e-cig (a 510 perhaps? You can check out the disposable 510 for around $10 at MadVapes LLC).

New to this . Bought a Gamucci about 2 months ago and both batteries and atomizer are dead. The company I bought this from is not responding to me at all and now I see they have discontinued the Gamucci. I'm done with them and would like to try something new. Reading thru some threads I have found that alot of people are recomending the 501. Problem is I have about 15 boxes of prefilled cartridges and was wondering if they might be compatible with the 501 or another model that is better than the Gamucci garbage. The other problem I have is that it seems alot of US suppliers are no longer shipping to Canada. Any help would be really appreciated. I hope this is the appropriate place to post. Thx.
