Hey All,

I found this big batt mod but it uses unprotected battery...is this a bad thing?

Here is the product description...

An excellent large battery mod.

Utilizing the included 18650 3000mAh batteries that are unprotected, this mod has an internal protection circuit as well as a vent hole for safety.

Most other protected 18650 batteries will also fit.

The button switch is metal.

Battery has a 10 second cut-off for safety.

Liquid cover over the atomizer thread to prevent leaks.

Fully sealed top cap to stop liquid from leaking inside to the electronics.

Thanks all

This is a link to an ECF Battery Information page. Please read. In case the link doesn't work it reads:
General advice

DO NOT USE UNPROTECTED RECHARGEABLE LI-ION BATTERIES IN A MOD

---USE PROTECTED Li-ion BATTERIES, OR Li-Mn, OR Li-FePo4---

ONLY USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES - DO NOT USE ORDINARY NON-RECHARGEABLE CELLS

Our advice is that the best and the safer choice of battery for mods is the AW IMR Li-Mn rechargeable.
