Hello, I am a pretty new e-cigarettes smoker. I have tried a few of the "generic" brands of e-cigarettes. I was disappointed in them all. What I really want is a great "throat hit" and the sensation of smoke in my lungs. I think that is a HUGE part of my addiction to traditional cigarettes. So my question is what is the best type of vaporizer for my needs? I am also concerned about longevity. I want a durable vaporizer and a creator that's innovative and efficient. I am currently looking at the GG series and the SD(screwdriver by trog) series. Price is not an issue since I want the best. Those seem to be the best options right now. I am very interested in what anyone has to say about this matter.

Thank you very much.

You have some good options there. Also look into the silver bullet. The eGo for a 3.7v device. It has great battery life. As for throat hit try some tasty vapor atomic fireball. Most tobacco flavors do not taste like a real cigg so I found myself looking at other flavors. Hope this helps.

Excellent! Thank you for the suggestion. (atomic fireball sounds great! Where would I buy that from?) Hmm, the silver bullet does look good. Oh man I just don't know what's right for me! Anyone else own any of these 3 devices and can tell me how they perform VS each other?

I'm kinda new too and went with the Xhaler from nahler.com. It's a 5v or 6v PV with a 510 atttie. I like the higher volt models. This thing is sooo strong..droped it...carry it around in my pocket with keys and what not....and it vapes like a champ!!! + Drew is one heck of a huge help when I first started with all my questions. The product rocks....going to get another one soon. Here's a link to nahle thread...tons of info there too. Good luck & keep Vapin'!!!!

Throat hit and vapor production can be enhanced by running an atomizer at a higher voltage. While the voltage increase does shorten the life of an atomizer, throat hit and vapor production is quite excellent.

A good route to go is acquire a custom battery pack (like the SuperSix, AdapteveR, GG, Silver Bullet, etc.). First, these devices are rugged. Second, replacement batteries are inexpensive. Third, with reasonably-priced adapters, you can use these devices with any atomizer. Lastly, many custom devices can run multiple voltages.

My personal favorites are the AdapteveR (AdapteveR - Solder-less - USA Quality) and Super-T1 (http://www.supertmanufacturing.com/); the original device from Super-T Manufacturing. They are both configured for 6 volts and will always be that way. I use each one every single day.

Any custom battery pack you may buy will likely be fine, too.
