Stina, honestly you're going to have to move away from the small cigarette size PV's, or most likely you won't be that happy in the long run. I started with Blu a few years ago and was ready to give up vaping after only a month or so. Next step for me after the Blu was an eGo, then a Riva/Brother, then moved into mods. I'd say skip the regular eGo and move up to a Riva/Brother size PV or something similar. I would probably just buy a new kit. But when you're looking, 510 connections are pretty much becoming a standard so I would go in that direction. The Riva/Brother or something similar and using LR (low resistance) atomizers, you will have much better luck.

WELCOME TO THE ECF!

Yeah, I started out with one of those crappy 3 piece hits too. I found that I HATE carts but, you can try cleaning the atomizer to stop getting the burnt flavor.

If you want something that's really affordable and has great reviews here on the ECF then a Riva or Ego would be your best bet. You can get them from liberty-flights. Don't forget to click on the 20% discount that's one the upper left hand corner. This can turn a starter Riva kit into 30 bucks.

Here is what I think is easy, ideal, clean and economical.
Also you should not need any upgrades for a LONG time

Mega eGo 1000 batteries (2)
Mega eGo Dual coil Cartomizers (the big ones, hold 4ml of liguid and super easy to fill!) grab a few.

From experience(not alot but I have tried every cartridge and method for the eGo) and reading(alot)

I get a great draw, long lasting, reliable batteries, easy to fill.

My favorite supplier is litecigusa.com and he will be carrying the Mega eGo Dual Coil Cartomizers starting this wednesday(10/19/2012)
I am finally happy.

I use the ego with 3 -1000mah batteries in a rotation, B mega tank that holds 2ml of juice and a B low res atomizer.
I get a great hit of it. I go thru 3-4 tanks a day, there easy to fill , no leaks using the silicone caps on the tanks .
Best of all the battery last the whole day then i put it on charge and use the next battery in rotation.. Since May these batteries i have no problems with.
I dont think you would suck real hard on this setup or you might get an out of body experience !
But to each his own were all different . Best thing your of them cigs !

KR808D-1 is a fine model - the most popular 2-piece. Try the cartos from Bloogplanet and keep them damp with thin juices - PG w/ 20% or less VG. I can get 7 to 10 days use out of a carto without burning it. I use a drip tip in stead of the end cap so I can remove it easily to look at the stuffing and/or add juice. I recommend manual batteries only. Easier to get a good hit, harder to damage or kill with juice leaks.

I would not buy KR808D-2 - too little available for it. It's like KR808D-1 without compatibility, just the way rebranders want it.

I am thinking some people would do better going with a simple low priced 3.7v box mod. No they don't look like imitation analogs/cigs, but they actually cost less, last longer and work with a fairly easy learning curve. I hate seeing new vapers getting frustrated with these things. The little box mods are pretty straight-forward and simple to use, but they do look different from what many new vapers want to be carrying around.

This sounds like an ideal set up for you right now. Simple and convenient. No fiddling. And knowing that you have three or four batteries to get you through the day and night would give you peace of mind.

Best post yet. Though the biggest learning curve re. Mods I found was what batteries and charger to get though once you know what you're looking at there's not much to it. A bit "tougher" than "an eGo battery" plus it's included screw-in charger, however.

Good one on sale at Mad Vapes but they are usually out of the 14500 batteries it takes. Very common though; can find anywhere. Trustfire, Ultrafire or AW are the big three brands (the latter is the highest quality).

If you want something small and convenient, go to Reosmods.com (click on my banner) and get a mini reo. It's a bottom feeding mod, buts its tough and you'll love it. Get it with the cartos Rob sells and you'll be set. I have a Grand and Woodvil and just love that i can throw a battery and extra carto in my pocket, grab my Reo and just go. It's awesome!

Hope you find what works for you and hits your sweet spot.

Happy Vaping!
