VV=variable voltage: Variable Voltage let’s you control how many volts your device will produce. Usually with a variable voltage e-cig, you’ll be able to dial in the voltage by a click of a button or sequence.

VW=variable wattage: Variable Wattage let’s you control how many watts your device will produce. This will allow you to set it and forget it, no matter what atomizer or cartomizer you use with the device.

Check out my first blog. There is a "Guide to vaping" link to a list of terms, abbreviations, pictures, and definitions for most everything vape related.

Seems to be the question of the hour. I think this is the third post I've answered about this in the last 60 minutes. lol

Anyway, if you see an abbreviation in a post with a dotted underscore - like this one: BCC - hover over that and a definition pops up.

This is the lingo guide I send people to: e-Cigarette Jargon and Terms - eCig 101

Oh my... just re-read a reply I sent to him.... here's a short list. :)

PV - personal Vaporizer, AKA Ecig
apv - advanced personal vaporizer
EGO - style of battery. usually the size of a small cigar.
Kanthal - heating wire used to heat Eliquid.
Nichrome - heating wire used to heat eliquid
ADV - All Day Vape... (users preferred flavor)
VV - Variable Voltage
VW - Variable Wattage
topper - the atomizer and/or tank on top of an ecigarette battery
tank - and atomizer that stores several millileters of ejuice
dripper - an attomizer that only holds enough liquid to saturate the coils. Requires constant dripping to keep the wicks wet.
wick - what carries/holds the juice while the heating wire heats it.
clearomizer - an atomizer and tank combined into one. Usually the wick and wire are inside the clearomizer, and most of the unit is see-through.
tankomizer - an atomizer and tank arrangement where the coil is on a level by itself, and the ejuice is wicked to the heating coils.
clouds - lots of vapor
PG - Propylene Glycol. one ingredient in E-juice - produces more flavor and throat hit but is thinner and produces less vapor.
VG - Vegetable Glycerine Second ingredient - produces slightly less flavor and throat hit but produces more flavor. Is thicker
Nic - niccotine.
mech mod - Mechanical mod. A battery compartment with no electronics. The atomizer is hooked straight to the battery with some sort of momentary on button.
coil - where the heating element is wrapped into a springlike appearance.
microcoil - where the heating element is wrapped like a spring, but each wrap touches each other.
#wraps (I.E. 8 wraps) - how many times the heating coil goes around.

hope this helps some.

that shoudl get you started

That's interesting, I always though BCC was bottom coil clearomizer. Funny how we don't have a TCC though...
