yeah but can you lay it on it's side?! :D

A kayfun? Absolutely. The only leakage problems I ever saw with a kayfun was in changes of air pressure -- hot humidity to cool AC -- or if something was wrong with one of the o-rings.

I will take a picture of my neighbor's kid (well he is 20something) next time he is out back sitting in the lawn chair with a lit cig in one hand and his sub ohm/box mod in the other for you @coolerat  or of my own 20something son/gf/their friends/co-workers.... Seriously most of them vape for indoor use or other times/areas they can't smoke or around their circle/group that is vaping at th time and will tell you it doesn't get it for them to stop smoking, it is a conversation I have had countless times with people because they want to know how I could actually quit 4 years ago by vaping or I ask why they dual use.

ETA: this just happened the other day when we met my son's SO's friend at a restaurant she works at for dinner, afterwards we parked out back so they could smoke and I vaped, as soon as the friend saw me she ran over to my car window and pulled out a big box/sub ohm set up and said hey I do that too and was shocked when I told her I quit smoking 4 years ago when I started vaping... now she is going to buy my tootle puffer set up after trying and liking it because she would love to quit smoking.

Likewise, Truli. I didn't direct to lung my smokes (OR pipes!! Especially not pipes ) And my subtanks are used with the RBA and my usual 1.5 Ω coil.

Imo, one of the reasons for dual use is that vaping isn't as "easy" to do. Even if you don't rebuild anything you still need to have extra heads, chargers, backups... (One of my early concerns was running out of battery juice when I was out... until I got that taken care of I'd never go out without 3 or 4 devices. Now, not less than 2 ) Regular maintenance, cleaning and so on. Heck, your Bic is good for "1000's of lights" and you can get your favorite brand just about anywhere. Not the case with vaping, you have to plan ahead.

And finding the right nic level and flavor is also a big part of the equation. Too low - whether tootling along or sub-Ω - and there's just no "satisfaction."

What your describing is what I call the fiddle factor.

And its the big no-no of the vape world.

Try selling what you just typed to a person that just wants to quit smoking. No go.

Rebuilding isn't gonna happen and Nautilus class stuff is prone to flooding and just a general PITA.

The Atlantis is a rock solid platform. Low air and 20w or so and that puppy never fails. This is what I give to people starting out.

And PG, noobs love PG. I can't stand the crap. So when I give away my juice almost to a one they come back saying they aren't getting enough nic. So I leave the nic the same and bump the PG and they are happy.

That is strange.

Frankly I don't deal with many young people outside the family.

I gave all my kids and kids in law iSticks and Nautilus's last year. For my son that was a spark to subohm and he's been clean since.

The others only use there's when they come over cause they think it matters to me. Yeah cause I can't smell the smoke from 20 feet away right??

Um, anything over about 40% VG and my throat and chest start to complain. Nearly 3 years of vaping...

As you said earlier, Coolerat, we're all different. Nobody is "right" - except for themselves.

If what you're doing is getting folk off cigs, great! Just be aware that maybe some of the failed attempts are because you're presenting it as the only way to vape...

I did something similar when I got my Subtank mini. I tried the coils that came with it with my normal 16mg/mL eliquid and the throat hit almost killed me. I diluted it down to 6mg/mL and boy was I makin some fog, but there was no throat hit and I found myself chain vaping to get the nic I wanted. I'd rather vape less with high nic juice than gum up my lungs with VG.

Once I put a 1,7ohm coil in the rba and closed down the airflow to suit the 70/30 (PG/VG) was I happy. Now I can take a few toots every 15 min or so and be perfectly happy.

This exactly. I am so utterly and absolutely tired of being told "the way I vape is THE ONLY RIGHT WAY TO DO IT." And if someone does it differently from that person... well they're just WRONG!!!!!!

Mostly dealing with people that see me everyday and I got a different rig everytime they see me..

And nobody vapes the way I vape unless I do the work for them. I'm the only builder so I build there stuff.

Heck I learn more from my flock they they ever learned from me. I only help with like the first week. They've taught me about TC and a bunch of other things..

Heck later tonight my son will be in town. 6 months ago I handed him a Nautilus and said try this. Tonight he will show me his latest reverse left thread overhead clapton at 7 brazillion megawarts.

I'm the teacher that became the student.

Soon as the innernets aren't fun anymore, well I don't know what I'll do.

Be kinda lost for abit I suppose.
If you haven't tried a good MTL tank with some good 12-16mg/mL juice I would recommend it. Holding the vapor in your mouth befor you inhale really brings out the flavor.

With the high VG liquid you like I'd suggest a Lemo 2.

A simple 1.5 ohm 28awg 2.5mm contact coil at around 18W

I wonder if I see the dual use/not being able to quit with those set ups because it is less "like" smoking then tootle puffing per say MTL or often the size, feel and the shape of the gear. I just know for myself these factors played a lot into my being able to quit smoking and still do to this day 4 years later, I still get bad cravings for a cig every once in a while, why I don't know, but grabbing a cig-alike filled with menthol ejuice (same%nic) knocks them out for me.

You wanna go off the record for a minute??

This morning I built a K4 at 1.8Ω, cooked up some 50/50 plain with a drop of menthol. I did the nic at 10mg cause 12 tastes disgusting to me these days.

Actually holding a Lemo 2 on a mech right now. At . 5. Stock coil, gonna do nickel long term.

I don't turn my nose up at anything.

Back on the record...............

TOOTLE PUFFERS ARE MURDERERS. DO YOU HEAR ME?? I SAY MURDERERS!!!!!!!!
