I've been cig free for exactly 1 week now!!

I started smoking in 1996, and bought my 1st e-cig kit a little over half a year ago. I was almost cig free (had 2 or so a day) for 6 months while using the first kit I had bought. But I gave up on them (Greensmoke) because the battery always died, I had to send 2 battery's back in 6 months because they failed. I never really seemed to get the nicotine from them either, they said it was the same as what I smoked before but it never felt like it. I'd basically just end up smoking a real cig after vaping because it didn't do it for me! The final straw was when they stopped shipping my favorite flavors to California.

So I went back to smoking a little while researching and waiting for my new kit. I ended up choosing the Ego with 2 manual 1000mAh battery's. I received my kit last Friday along with a lot of samples of different e-liquid (lots of boxes that day LOL!) and I have not had a cig sense and I'm loving it! The slap in the face was that the Ego was well under HALF the cost of the Greensmoke kit I bought

I did buy a lil more than I should of.. like 10 attys (5 reg 3 LR) + the 2 it came with, 20 bottles of liquid (mostly samples from different suppliers, a few 30ml I knew I'd like), a couple dual coil carts, some drip tips, empty regular carts. But its all been worth it as I'll use it all eventually! I'm having fun trying the different setups. Mostly I'm dripping now to try the flavors out. Loving the Boba's Bounty I'm vaping right now!

Anyways I just thought I'd share my story and introduce myself. I'm happy to finally join this family! Some of you have taught me a lot when I was lurking around doing research for my new purchase and I'd like to thank you!

Looking forward to hanging out here with you all! :vapor:

Welcome aboard!!! Looks like you have all the tools you need to quit for good!!!! After your first full month of not smoking you will feel a great accomplishment. And every month after that seems to go quicker and get easier.

Also, on the starter kit pricing I also found a much better kit online for half the price of the first kit I bought in the local cigarette shop where I live. The smoke shops around here do not sell very good starter kits. All "look alike" cigarette brands are a waste of money in my opinion.

@Pyre Thanks, Boba's is really nice you really should try it!

@Beans Thanks, yeah that slap hurt, wished I bought a Ego for my first kit. Oh well live and learn lol!

@Alamor and Ricanrod Thanks, I wanted to make sure I had a varaity of things so if I didn't like something I could try vaping another way. So far I'm liking it all, but dripping is awesome for trying flavors out! I really think cigs are in the past now.. and will stay there! :)
