Hello to everyone on e-cigarette-forum.com!

My name is Mark. I am from the St. Louis area, but I actually live in the state of Illinois. I'm a student right now working on my Associate in Applied Science degree in Computer Network Security and Administration. I am starting an internship with Lockheed Martin during the Spring 2014 semester that is supposed to end in permanent, full-time employment at Lockheed Martin. After I graduate in 2014, I will also start working on a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.

I am married and have a 4 year old son which is my entire life. I am back in college and hoping I get the permanent position at Lockheed Martin all so that my son can have a great childhood. I want so much for him so that is why I am trying to do better in life.

I quit smoking almost 5 years ago now. I actually quit right after my son was born. Ever since then I would occasionally smoke a black and mild cigar and about 6 months ago I got my first e-cig. I like being able to get the nicotine, but I mostly like it for the flavors.

Right now I have an ARO II atomizer and a 1100mAh ego style battery. The coils I get are always either 1.7 or 1.8 ohms and the battery runs at 3.7 volts when fully charged. Before this atomizer, I had an ARO I and my first one was a T2.

I am wanting to get into making my own ejuice soon.

Hello and Welcome Mark. I DIY and love it! I started DIY'ing cuz' when I went to look for a juice that tasted like a tobacco I was overwhelmed by the choices and the opinions so I decided to try my luck and make my own. I've never regretted it. There are lots of recipes here on ECF and great advice for newbies as well as experts. There's always help available and things to read. Ask questions and they'll get answered. Thank you for sharing you story and hope to see you around the forum! Happy Vaping :vapor:

Thanks for the welcome! I have realized how difficult it can be to make your own juice. I have been doing a lot of research and reading the last couple months and I think I am almost ready to actually give it a try.

I have this calculator thing to determine exact amounts of my mixtures called eJuice Me Up from breaktru.com. It already has some recipes included with the calculator and it allows me to add up to 7 different flavors, change PG/VG ratio and get the mg of nicotine per ml right.

I signed up for this forum to get any help I might need when I get started. The hardest thing for me so far is finding a flavor supplier that carries all the different flavor components I want to have on hand to mix for my final eJuice flavor. I think I will probably have to order from at least two different companies that sell the flavorings.

I linked to one, but you can just click on someone else's and it should take you to the page where you can make your own. Mine comes from reddit.

Once you enter all your own info, it will spit out a code that you will insert into your signature. You do so by going to Settings -> Edit Signature. You need 15 posts in the forum before you have permission to edit your sig."
