Sleep? Bah - that's for teenagers.

Ok, ordering 101 - your first Reo:

I do believe you said you are going low profile. Make sure you are selecting a low profile atty. Because most of us have a hodge podge of all sorts of Reos, Rob doesn't make "second guessing" changes for you on an order. If you order a LP Reo, but order a standard profile atty - that is exactly what you will get.

Your Reo will come with two bottles - one in place and an extra with a cap. Do you need more bottles? Totally up to you. Some people use 'em. I ordered extras and have yet to bust them out. Carrying around a 6 ml capacity in a Grand when out and about means not having to refill anything for most of us.

The battery spring is your safety feature on a Reo - collapses if you dead short it. An extra battery spring or two is a must have standby part. It will also provide you with "Murphy insurance" - if you order an extra spring that will pretty much guarantee you will never collapse one. :p

Some people order the extra tube & cap assembly thing. That really isn't a part of a Reo you can break, but if you run some really nassty stuff through your Reo - like Pluid - replacing the tubing may be the only way you can get the odor out. Not an expensive thing anyhoo.

Button covers? Totally unnecessary - but we love 'em. Some people just don't care for the smaller button size without a cover.

I'm of the opinion that you don't need to order a replacement switch kit. First, you have to do something really, REALLY bad to trash the switch parts on a Reo. And a lot of people get into more trouble trying to replace a switch themselves, and then end up sending both the Reo and the parts back to Rob anyway to have him do it.

Other than that... are you fixed for batteries?

ETA: I know you had a sadz about a color combo you wanted that was out of stock. Welp, if you are going to e-mail or PM Rob about putting together your order it never hurts to ask, please and thank you. Rob never, ever does pre-order crap like some places do. But it's amazing some of the things that guy pulls out of the shop to keep his campers happy. (Don't be shy - you can even give him a call if you want to.)

What a great post! I like your thinking! Thank you.
Yes I'm going with a LP Grand. I'm fixed I think on batteries I have these LG 18650HE2 35A 2500mAh x4 as of now and also some 18650 2500 mAh x6 button tops I don't hardly use I'm not sure if I can use button or flat tops...
I'm really doing more lung hitting these days, I kinda like the hit (more on getting the smoking feeling than nicotine hit) I'm on 6mg now I'm wondering if he still has the Stillares on his site, I like the Phillips screws better than Allen screws...
I like the battery spring idea, and I was thinking of getting extra bottles and another tube as well... I DIY and have lots of flavors...
Oh and yeah I love the button covers. I've thought about buying all the colors but I guess they snap and stay so you don't need to accessorize that much huh? LOL!
I use Kanthal wire, Cellulose Cotton, I have a multimeter, suture scissors & a pair of hemostats, readers, magnifying glasses...

That's so me!

I have a question..
Allen screws or Phillips screws on atty's the good, bad, and best for a semi ok coil builder? Which one holds up better?

Im really liking that the RM 5, read somewhere it's good for big clouds... I'm kinda of a lung hitter now since it gives me more of a sensation of smoking, not just nicotine, I'm at 6mg and I do like playing the clouds ;)
See, I'm the cool aunt :) I'm going to get tons of questions on my new device

Welcome Barbie!
3 Provaris, Kayfuns, and DNA mods? Sounds like you have a good stash of items for the classies! You'll be a multuple Reo owner in no time. As soon as you realize those other items aren't being used anymore :)

Thank you!
I'm kind of a hoarder :) I still have my original cigalikes almost took them to a Cloud Competition (nephew was competing) just as a joke :)
I also have an SVD & 2 MVP's :)

The allen bolts are less likely to break your wires when you screw them down, but i just prefer philips screws, because i can always find a screwdriver.

If your screws are sharp at the bottom you can just file them down a little so they don't cut wire. On the Atomic/RM4 the screwheads are VERY close together and that is why Rob uses allen bolts on that atty - to reduce the chances of a short if say the screwheads work loose and touch one another.

When it gets there cut an inverted V in the bottom of the feed tube. This will keep it from sucking itself to the bottom or side of the bottle. An issue that happens sometimes. If you get a button cover look for a piece of thread in the baggy you'll need to lay it over the firing button before adding the cover. If it doesn't have the thread in there a piece of dental floss will work nicely. Rob ships signature required so someone will have to be there to sign for it. Rob ships on Mon. Wed. Fri. so it should be there by Wed. Thurs. at the latest Watch for your shipping info it could go into your spam folder. Most importantly Pix or it didn't happen.

Ooohhh we are such enablers here. No wait - you pretty much did that one yourself! :p

Couppla loose ends department:

Ok, maybe a loose thread. As Raynman said, to fit a button cover on you put that piece of string in the 'lil bag over the switch first, then press the button cover in place. That locks the cover on but still allows for removal if a repair is ever needed. Trim the excess string off with some of those bitsy nail scissors that you wimminey folk always hide from us guys folk. Not using the thread can result in the button cover resting too low on the button and interfere with firing. And falling off and rolling to the back of the 'fridge if you drops your Reo. So no, the button covers aren't really hot-swappable as such. Super gluing a button cover on? - really bad idea.

Flats or button top badderies is fine. Only difference might be a slightly different feel to the switch throw with a flat top - no big deal. As always - respect the limits of your battery of choice and build accordingly.

Since it sounds like you got your order in on this side of the PayPalGate changes... Tracking will be assigned via your PayPal account, so check in there to get your tracking number. Will show up in the transaction details once it's been assigned. If you have a secure mail box you can get a slip at the Postal Orifice to fill out that, in effect, signs for the package in advance and allows it to be left if you won't be there.

Not that we're being pushy or anything  but you may want to check in here to get a custom avatar after your Reo arrives. If not, it's just fun as all hell to see what DoogieTony comes up with for people. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/562575-free-custom-reo-avies-banners.html Like this one:

"Wonderland" huh? You wouldn't happen to be in very, very close proximity to me in Marblehead? :D

Purple! WooWoo! Do you still think you can keep it away from hubs after he tries it? (Being that it's purple and all that...)
