On and off vapor over the last few years... I started with an njoy NPRO aka rn4081 many years ago. Was piece of junk.
Went back to analogues hard after the federal import ban scare and whatnot...

Recently made the plunge to buy an ego-c from ovale (official joytech) and got some ce4+ from microcig aka the stardust. Kind of back and forth between the ego-c and ce4+ depends on the juice and my mood.

Recently got 100 feet of 32 and 34 gauge nichrome, 400 stainless steel mesh... Been rebuilding everything with a variety of SS mesh wicks and coils. Done a few things I haven't seen done, some worked out others didn't.

Looking to get in with the modding community... Have a B.S. Electrical Engineering and Minor in Organic Chem...

What other good things are there to look into?

Greetings from Canada! Welcome to ECF!

When you have 5 posts (and the server updates itself, maybe up to an hour) you can post in other forums and get lots of input from modders. There are lots of ideas there and you can share some of your own.

100' of wire can build a lot of coils, an inch at a time! Lol

Relax, Enjoy!

^ Thanks for the tips!

So far the greatest accomplishment to date I have running is a rebuilt ego-c. Normally the ego-c has two wicks. One coming through the spike feeding the coil and a second that the coil is wrapped around. Replaced with a single stainless steel wick bent at an 'L' shape. The bottom shorter end has a 2.2 Ohm coil and the top feeds through the spike.

Oxidize the steel before and after coil wrapping.

This seriously transforms the ego-c flavor and vapor production to a new level. However throat hit really is minimized.
Should work in the same manner on the ego-t and with pretty much any wick material. The key idea is 1 wick instead of 2...
