I know this isn't the forum but my battery and tank will not connect. I just purchased them separately and at first they connected just fine, than after I disconnected to charge the battery and went to connect them again, they won't connect anymore. It's like a piece went missing or something but I can't figure it out.

It's an ISmoka tank with a ego-c twist battery.

Please help.

sorry about the problem

can you take a picture of your battery and tank so we can see the thread ends on both (so they are not attached to each other)
and a little more concise description of what is happening (they screw together but won't fire, they wont screw together at all. etc

use this site to upload the picture TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting and copy and paste the img code - in the resize box choose the message board (640 x 480) size so it is big enough to see

and we will see if we can't help you

and welcome to the ECF

is it the mini or the mega tank? and is it a standard ego style battery or something else? (there may be thread adaptor you are forgetting - this is why pics help)

the mini appears to be ego threaded and mega is a 510 threaded (hopefully the 510 threads are not stripped)

try to never over tighten anything on your battery to get it to be stable - get beauty rings that screw onto the ego threads for the oversized 510 tanks

They won't screw together anymore, and no dropping them or snap offs of any threads. It's literally like the tank and the battery become incompatible overnight. Kind of like the tank somehow, umm, become to small and the battery thread hole got bigger? Cause now there is room to move the tank threads when there wasn't before.

Sound like something - either the battery 510 threads or the base of the tank - are stripped. Got anything else you can try connecting to the battery to rule in/out?

well I don't have a ismoka but after a quick google I see that the threads on the bottom don't change with the coil..im guessing the threads are stripped on either the battery or tank..quick fix would be some Teflon tape on tank threads..then buy a ce4 or some tank that uses the outside ego threads on the battery
