Hi My name is Athena...I have tried e-cigarettes like the white cloud, njoy and others in the past with NO success. This past Saturday I went to our local flea market and purchased a "vaporette"....do not ask me brand because I do not know (but it has a button to push when using but no dial on bottom). It came with a long battery four inches, a charger to plug into computer, a lanyard so I can wear it around my neck, an extra atomizer part and 2 large bottles of 36 ml drops. One regular tobacco and 1 chocolate flavored.

I was a 1 1/2 pack a day smoker since I was 15 (over 50 now). I could not be without an extra pack. It is now almost a week and I have only "cheated" a few times maybe 3 cigarettes total (a puff here and a puff there). It is amazing to me.

I will be returning to the vendor to buy a bottle or 2 of no nicotine drops to dilute the ones I have and get the info I should have asked for this weekend.

I will be reading a bunch of threads tonight but welcome any input and suggestions for questions to ask the vendor.

welcome and congrats on the smoking cessation. While its great your flea market has someone (and hopefully they are trust worthy as there are even online vendors that aren't) the world of ejuice and hardware is exponential. I see you are also from tampa, howdy neighbor. I recommend you go to the brink and mortar store on Kenndey called Purely Vapor. Check out this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/447897-purely-vapor-tampa-fl.html

I bought a sample pack of 5 5 ml for 10.99. They also have their hardware at decent prices and not a huge markup like the local lizard juice stores. They also know know hardware inside and out and have some for sale. If you take your hardware in they would be happy to show you how to care for it and get the best experience out of it.

I don't do the tobacco flavors as I am quitting smoking as well so stopping the cycle of tasting tobacco vape has helped break the cycle for me.

Feel free to PM me anytime as I know all the ins and outs of the vape stores here as well as I can point to good online deals for good inexpensive easy to care for hardware. With 30 or 40 dollars up front, I can get you enough hardware to last for two years or more that provides a good vape experience. Not the very best as that can get up to a couple hundred dollars, but still its what I use and more than sufficient to get the job done. anyway hope to talk to you soon.

Thanks for the B&M info in Tampa! I'll be there in a few weeks for the Saints game.

Release, I will have to stop by there next time I am in that area.....currently on the other side of the bay near Tarpon Springs, I just say Tampa Bay because then people know where I am talking about...:vapor:

Yep, the whole Tampa Bay area. A coworkers wife just strated getting stuff from a flea market and they live in palm harbor. Wonder if the same folks. Anyway, always feel free to PM about any general vaping, ejuice, and hardware questions. Take care.

oh and it looks like they have a store of waters near the vet. that would be a good 20 minutes closer to you... http://purelyvapor.com/

Welcome aboard. I'm a quitter. . .quit tobacco after 52+ years using ecigs. Transitioned to ecigs for 6 months using both. Then, after 3 years, quit ecigs. That was my goal when I started using them. I'm living proof. . .if you wanna you can quit smoking using ecigs. Best of luck to you.

Cheers,
otrpu

Congrats! It is not surprising you were unable to quit with the first ones you listed. As others have said this is a good forum for understanding the many aspects of vaping. The better the hardware and juice is the more likely you will not cheat! I have worked long and hard at the set up i have. I doubt it will be my last, but I cannot fathom ever going back and hopefully that will be you too!

Well made a AiV order yesterday and will wait with building anticipation of those juices that sound SOOOOOO yummy. I also stopped in at a hookah shop that had just opened and the guy there gave me a couple of partial sample bottles of juice a suppler sent him.....Gummybear and AMP. I am mixing them with the 2 bottles I got with my unit (tobacco and chocolate 38mg ) The AMP is ok but I am having trouble trying to convert the amount of nicotine as it is labeled 1.1% and I am used to mg per ml...the gummybear tastes like gummybears(no nicotine)...not so much to my liking but it does make the tobacco flavor bearable so at least I wont toss it before I get some favorites. Any suggestions for a good coffee and cream (or cappuccino ) flavor anyone ?
