i wanted to post a question on the provari radius official page but apparently i can't for now,so I'll post it here:

i just got the Radius, and the first thing i noticed is that the tank doesn't sit flush,well it does on the P3to510 screw(adapter)but there is still a tiny gap between the tank and the beauty ring.
is it normal?the adapter seems to be a bit elevated from the B.ring,and they're both well tightened,+ the air flow channels match.

second question;i just upgraded the device and noticed it downloads the firmware from the Net,so that means i can't keep a copy of it?(since the updates will be disabled in 1.2018).

Thanks.

Depends on the 'tank' being used, many have longer/shorter 510's.
Might be just how it is with certain delivery devices.

I don't know how the upgrade downloads work now that Provape is closed, all mine had to be downloaded, drivers installed, files opened before upgrading would take place, so they're stored on my computer.

Thanks both.
@Topwater Elvis
i tried a few tanks(KFL,expromizer,vika fantasy),i don't think the 510 pin length matter since the p3to510 adapter is elevated(a bit higher than the outer ring.)

for the update,i downloaded the 'programmer',connected the device and it proposed a few versions,but i don't know if it was charged directly to my device or did it downloaded it somewhere in my pc.(i checked the Provape folder but didn't recognize something like that).
i don't think it matters since i already updated,just wanted to have the file anyway.

provape allows updating devices until january 2018.

@57chilicat
i just got it yesterday and just finished charging the battery and learning the menus.
i think i'll have to get used to this bigger button,coming from the lavabox75.

provape still sells radius devices through Provarifuel.

My wife's P3 also her subtank mini didn't sit flush. Bit disappointing to spend big for a gap. I had a option of grinding down the subtank 510 or dealing with it. I could spin the ring up to make it flush but guaranteed my wife would loose the ring. I put a oring under the ring and then tightened the ring enough so her atty just made connection then put on the 510 connector. The gap is now between the top of the P3 and bottom of the ring, her subtank sits flush and looks a lot better than having her subtank hovering above or worse, loosing a almost irreplaceable ring. The ring is tight and she won't loose it when removing to refill her atty. I'm not sure if this will work for a Radius but it just might

as you said,this mod is supposed to be 'perfect' with high QC,especially for its price.
i don't feel like putting an o-ring there etc.,i might contact them and ask for a solution or another adapter.

what would have been great but i couldn't find, is a 510to p3 adapter,like the opposite of what House of Hybrid provide, so i could place all my tanks directly on the p3 connector.

My guess is that the gap depends on whatever tank is used. No problem with Protank, Kayfun 5, Kayfun Mini v3, Nautilus X or Hurricane

Welcome and glad you joined. Best to stick to " if it isn't broke, don't fix it ".

RadiusNick, those are the only tanks I have besides the p3 Kabuki but it uses the proprietary connection. Actually the Protank 4 has never been used but I still tried it when I sent my previous post.
