So I'm new to vaping entirely, but not really a "smoker".

I have always been a "social smoker". If I'm around someone smoking, or just at a bar, whatever, I tend to smoke. If I'm over at a friends house, we usually get his Hookah going. My preference normal is Hookah>Cloves>Black and Milds>Menthols. Sometimes I go months between even thinking of smoking. Lately though, I find myself going out more, and hence, smoking more, so I decided to look into e-cigs as a preventative thing before I actually started smoking more often.

I was blown away by the community, the mods, the, well, everything. I love tinkering with things, though it is usually in the console/PC area, I was really digging all the different vape options. So I decided to pick up something to play with, to get started. I ended up with a Vision Spinner, a rapid charger, and a mini Vision nova (plastic). My mini Vision nova (metal) should be here soon. I got some random Killa Vanilla juice with my kit, picked up some cinnamon fireball at a local shop, and then just ordered 10 different flavors from mtbakervapor (damn that site). Everything so far is at 100% or Max VG, as I am trying to recreate that Hookah level of cloud for now. I figure once I find a flavor I like, I can start playing with different blends to see what I like the best.

Anyone have any tips on how to really get a nice size cloud? I've seen some crazy like, DIY quad and higher atomizers, but I'm looking for something easier for right now. The nova works great, no complaints, but it is literally all I know and have experience with so far, so I was wondering if anything else would be better.

Hi FrostyWolf and welcome to ECF. the eGo class PV fires at 3.3 or 3.7 volts. The Spinner fires at 3.2- 4.8 volts. To get more vapor you're either going to have to use a lower resistance atty/ carto/ head or buy an APV. An RBA on your Spinner might give you more vapor but there's a limit without actually upping the voltage/ wattage.

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome guys! I originally hit a different forum first, and there "welcome" consisted of like 3 people going "you're a idiot and shouldn't vape or smoke" and one person being semi-helpful.

I was originally looking at "mods" (I assume thats the same as APV) but the prices were starting to get up there and I didn't have a lot to spend really. I definitely want to move that direction though. I'm currently only using my 2.4 ohm head on my nova, haven't played with the 1.8 one yet, but the issue I have, at least with the two juices I've played with, if I crank the voltage any higher then 4, it ravages my throat when I take a hit.

Hi FrostyWolf

You have got a lot of great advice here, I only have one thing to add. since you are not a big smoker and are looking for bigger vapor, you might try a much lower nic level, higher percentage vg, (both easier on your throat) and as already mentioned, lower ohm coils. Good luck and congrats on getting rid of those cigs.
