So as a newbie, I read the heck outta this forum.

Came to the conclusion I was gonna get a 510, but heard good things about the dse801's and 901's as good starters.

Ended up getting a 801 cus of the 50% off a starter kit deal Beyond Electronic Cigarettes had. And that should be here tomorrow.

So I get to have my first vape yay!

But a few questions I couldn't find answers to.

I mainly smoke Camel lights, so I was looking for a similar flavor. Was thinking id probably get like 50% turkish, and 50% marl, but not positive.

Also is there a referece to what potency someone should get? Was reading about ppl getting panic attacks and stuff for smoking too high of nicotine content. Im just guessing a medium strength would be my best bet.

Anyways, I probably have more questions, but I cant remember any. Thanks for the forum, and all the info stored in it!

Yay! I smoked marlbro lights and everyone one says there is not a juice that will taste exactly like a cig. But I think you have a great plan. I personally like french pipe with a little RY4 which ends up tasting better than a cig did. Give us a little status report tomorro. Good Luck!

Potency kinda depends on you. I smoked almost 2pks a day sometimes. I am using 24mg which is high-very high & I am not having negative effects & was able to quit analogs pretty quick.

I guess I am going to ask a very dumb question, are you guys actually getting any flavor? I am using a Greensmoke e-cig and even bought some outside source liquid and to be honest flavor seems to be nothing.

I find that flavor does wain after a bit. I do switch flavors up a bit. The french & RY4 I mix seems to give me flavor for quite a while though.

I'm using a 24mg juice as well, and although I'm not feeling any adverse effects from the nicotine content, the throat hit is a bit strong. Usually makes me cough everytime. I'm going to drop down to a 20mg juice and see if that works. I think an 18-20mg juice is probably a safe bet for a new vaper.

What juice did you get? Who did you get it from?

I usually get pretty good flavor from the juices I have. My EcoPure Gold juice isn't terribly flavorful but my cafe mocha tobacco (Nhale) and my mocha (Tasty Vapor) are very good.

It's probably not the e-cig but maybe the juice? Maybe your atty is dirty? Try blowing out the atty into a kleenex (blow from the thread side, not the bridge side).

Reboot the juice I finally bought to add to the cartomizer was Juicy Liquid Caramel Crisp in 24mg VG, I've tried it one 3 different cartomizers and the same thing not any flavor that I can say is strong or very little throat hit at all.

Yeah, I can always taste some flavor just seems I get a little burnt out on it after a while & it starts tasting a little weak. I mostly notice this with tobacco flavors. Other flavors do seem to hold there flavor longer for me. Its me not the juice. I have gotten juice from about 5 five different suppliers.

sstambo, then only makes me think that to reason it has to be my greensmoke unit then, because everyone raved pretty good about the Caramel Crisp from Juicy Liquids and I even went with the 24mg level of VG.

Oh, IDK. Never tried your model. I have a joye 510. Are you refilling carts? Maybe you already said, but are you getting good amount of vapor? Have you found your model info for tips on here? Maybe that could help. I have read that some people just need extra flavoring. You could add flavor drops or some suppliers offer double flavor.

I did a little experiment yes, I am refilling cartridges my e-cig is a two piece model which just has the battery and the cartomizer, and yes I did try when I first got the e-liquid that wasnt mixed like the PG 24mg and the flavor seperate to mix in a small vile i tried different ratios and the taste did not seem to vary just the amount of vapor it created.

If you're getting good vapor, but little flavor, then I'm thinking your tongue is broken.
The good news is your tongue will improve soon after more time away from cigarettes.

I think it is a KR808D. I think the green cig is supposed to be a really good brand. Your juice supplier sent you nic juice & flavor that you need to mix? Never seen that before. I think I know someone that uses your brand. Let me see if I can get her to help you. I wouldn't give up on your model yet. When you first ordered your greencig kit it came with some pre-filled carts right? How were those?

Yes, DC2 is right. Vaping is not got the harsh taste that a cigarette does. I felt I wanted stronger flavor in the beginning too.

SSTAMBO, the medium was completely terrible like no throat or no flavor just like air, the extra high 16mg did have a slightly better taste and throat hit. So i figured by changing juices and trying the Caramel Crisp flavor from Juicy Liquids would make a larger different and also trying the 24mg in VG style because the PG seemed to give my wife a headache when she tried hers.

No not so much looking for a harsh taste at all make some throat to it of course and a flavor of some sort beside just the pure taste of the VG vapors.
