Hello to all, I'm facing a dilemma.

Regardless of the Kit you buy please post your order here to make sure you have everything before finalizing.

I had no idea the head on the ViviNova would need to be replaced so quickly.... I only paid $5.00 for mine Im wondering if its even worth it to replace the head as opposed to just replacing the whole unit. I can get a 5 pack of them for 20$ maybe thats my best bet since I cant be assed to clean them all the time.

a 30ML bottle will last me approx. six months and I was a pack a day smoker.

I think i will end up going with the one you have just suggested to me, the VE Riva 1100 deluxe. How often do clearomisers, cartomisers and batteries be changed?
The batteries are good for 250- 300 recharges.
Using the Vision brand Vivi Nova my heads (coil+ wick) are lasting 10+ weeks- costs are 15 cents per week. Of course there is some minor maintenance but it's really quite easy as the Vivi can be completely dissembled.
Realize the Riva Kit from Vape escape has a cheaper Stardust clearomizer and 5 cartomizers included.
Here's the Vision Vivi Nova:
Mini Nova £9.50 - Vaping Spares - Tanks & Accessories Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid
And extra heads:
Vivi & Mini Nova Replacement Heads £2.50 - Vaping Spares - Tanks & Accessories Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid
Here's a very long and detailed vid by PB...long but describes how to maintain the Vivi Nova

Oh and how much do 30ml bottles of e-liquid last? since i'm on this site i'm also thinking to order some of their e-liquids.
This really depends on how much you smoke. Realize also there are varying nicotine/ mg strengths. How much do you smoke per day/ week?

Shall i order additional ones now too? Oh and how much do 30ml bottles of e-liquid last? since i'm on this site i'm also thinking to order some of their e-liquids.

its best to have two maybe three batteries. i keep a handful around so i dont have to wait while one charges. as for clearos and cortos this all depends on amount of use jus have a few extra on hand basically you just want to have back ups so you dont end up in a situation where youre going to smoke because your baterries dead or you ran out of juice

Are they Vision brand Vivi Novas? If looking for inexpensive heads- $1.50 each BUT will only fit the Visions. Realize postage costs:

I rotate a bunch of them so cleaning takes maybe 5 mins for 3 of them. Includes washing and dry burning.

On the site you've sent me I've also seen Joyetech eGo-C 1000mah £59.99 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Joyetech eGo-C Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid
I don't mind paying that extra bit if this is a better PV. My budget is quite high so i don't necessarily need to go with the cheaper option. What do you think?

That PV only fires at 3.3 volts. Kgo at 3.7 volts.
The second issue I have with that kit is it has the outdated "tank" system (cartridge+ atomizer) and is prone to leakage.
2 x 1000mah Batteries
5 x Atomiser Heads
2 x Atomiser Base
2 x Atomiser Cones
5 x eGo-C Empty Tank Cartridges
1 x USB Charger
1 x Instruction Manual
1 x Joyetech Case

I'm going to toss into the mix here.
As the OP is a very light user, why not go with the eGo mini with some nice simple cartos? Add an eGo cone and a nice drip tip or two and you have a very simple, low maintenance, ultra compact and inexpensive device to pull out in social situations. It also looks kinda cute and inoffensive.
:2c:

I still carry one of these every day as a backup.

I was thinking the same as the Mini eGo also fires at 3.7 volts and am waiting for an answer to:

Personal opinion of course, but it doesn't really matter which one you get for a first PV. You will probably upgrade in a month or so anyway.
So my suggestion would be to not spend over 30 bucks for a first starter kit, and see if you even like vaping before you spend the family fortune on vape gear.

IMO this is a pretty good starter kit.

I wish I'd read this a month ago. That does look like a great starter kit! Would have saved me some headaches and $$$.

You're also correct about upgrading in a month or so, as I already have a VV on order.

I have four mini ego batteries. I put a clearomizer on two charged before work. Then I can change flavors or use one if one dies. They are awesome, small, and perfect for when I'm on the go. They are a steal at around $10 each if you do some digging on vendors. I have a joys tech pass through for use at home, but I'm very happy with my mini egos. They are the best.

ive been asked this question several times. what ive come to tell people is this;

dont worry so much about your first ecig, think more in terms of your second or third. i say this because like most vapers after your first rig you may find something 'bigger, better, more' and upgrade. save yourself some money and get the best, most versatile set up you can afford to spend on something you may or may not continue. theres an old saying...." dont gamble anything you cant afford to lose"
stay clear of the gas station products as many of them are over priced and inferior in quality resulting in a less than quality experience.
try no to put too much faith in the reviews that say how many puffs one is good for or how long a battery charge will last. its all subjective. the harder you hit at it the quicker it will go.i can kill a 3000 mAh battery in about 8-9 hours.( hence why i have 4). more moderate use will get you longer life.

my first set up was a 'volt' kit from smokless image. then i upgraded to their X2 battery. then i upgraded to clearomizers.then i moved up to an 1100mAh eGo unit and then a bigger clearomizer.then to an eGO twist with a dual coil tank system.now im using a siegeli zmax with a rebuildable atomizer.
i still use the eGos,but theres a lot of money i could have saved if i had just started out with an eGo-t kit like they have at the store or online retailers. you get 2 eGos(depending on the kit) 2 or 3 clearomizers the charger and a carrying case for around 50$ +/-. all you need to add is your juice of choice.
and thats a whole other discussion. you can get just about any flavor you want. fruit flavors, liquor flavors, tobacco flavors, desert flavors even candy and pastry flavors.

bottom line is: prepare to be dazed. the selection is almost endless.

I like in England. I LOVE VapeEscape. I am a regular customer.

That is a kit that I NEVER, EVER recommend. Those Joyetech "tank" systems are a disaster.

I never liked them, most of my vaping friends don't like them and Grim thinks there are a FAIL.

THE EGO-T FAIL - YouTube

I don't know why good vendors still sell them?....maybe it's because people ask for them rather than buying from Totally Wicked, because they sell them as their main kits.

that does look like a decent kit for a decent price. the eGo battery like that usually sell for 25-30$ by themselves. a great aspect of the usb charged batteries like that is they make great road trip devices.you can plug it in to the lighter in your car(usb adapter not included) and vape all the way and never have to worry about your battery going dead.

Thanks for the prompt reply! I have looked up the eGo and it seems interesting. So do i just have to fill it up with e-liquid?

eGo starter kits with come with what are called clearomizers. They use wicks to suck up the juice into the atomizer that heats it up to vaporize it. To fill them, you take the mouthpiece (or drip tip) off and pour the juice down the sides, being careful not to get juice in the white nob that covers the atomizer.

The only problem is the Vivi is a knockoff and is problematic. He used to sell original Vision Vivis but no more. Wonder why?
