Hello, vape noob here.

Hello, i have been exposed to the idea of vaping through friends both IRL and on the ethernets. I found the ECF, and through reading here and from the eavice of raping friends I ordered an eGo 900 mah kit from MadVapes and some sampler packs of juice from FSUSA. Here are my initial observations.


First off, I may have gone too high on the nic level. I got samplers from FreedomSmokesUSA 50/50, 24mg.

That said, I'm having a hard time getting used to dripping to not run dry and not flood the atomizer. I'm sure it's something that will come with experience.

Flavor is good when I get it right. Not a lot of vapor (compared to a buddy who runs some bulky 5v 510 mod).

We tried some of his atomizers and cartos on my eGo battery and found that the threads on his were about one thread too short and didn't contact my battery. This may limit me to getting replacements only from MadVapes.

-Crimson Cow + (Not sure what this is supposed to be, but was kinda sweet. Maybe Red Bull? Actually, that makes sense.)

And they threw in a 3ml bottle of Wyatt Earp ++ (This is really very good).

To be fair, by the time I got done I'm sure I was getting too much flavor mixing and taste bud fatigue to really discern any strong preferences.

Congrats on starting vaping. And welcome to ECF! There is a learning curve to all vaping PV's and the various items needed to run them. Hang in there and post any questions you have. There are so many here that will be quick to respond!

50/50 should be getting you a lot of vapor...maybe your battery is getting low ?

If you're having trouble with the atomizers, you might try using cartomizers instead. They are one piece and combine the atomizer and cartridge. Many people give up on the atty's after a while because the cartomizers can be easier and more convenient, especially when you are in the car or out and about. You can refill cartomizers, so you will be able to use the juice you have with them.
