Hi all!

I'm not exactly "new" to the world of vaping, nor to this forum (I joined back in 2010, with my first experience with vaping and PVs.) Back then I found vaping to be incredibly satisfying, and I was well on my way to quitting analogues entirely. Unfortunately, I went through a traumatic experience shortly after and went back to my traditional, no hassle no work crutch - actual tobacco. I convinced myself it was easier, and the mental state I was in gave me the perfect excuse to just keep smoking my tar filled analogues.

Two years later, I'm back! I'm sad to say I trashed all my old hardware, but I finally had the cash I needed to order myself a new 510-T (I was originally a 510 user) as well as many of my old favorite juices. I am super excited to get all my goodies in the mail in the next week and begin this journey anew. I very much wanted to get an ego-c system but did not have the cash to get properly set up at this time. Hopefully later in the fall. :)

So greetings again everyone! Looking forward to seeing all of your posts and becoming an active member of the vaping community. :)

I'm partial to the clove flavor offered at litecig, as well as peach, cola/dr pepper, and redbull flavors.

How about you?

Welcome back! Im rather new here myself and have been enjoying all the great information and people Ive been meeting. Its great to hear your going back to vaping. What sort of flavors do you prefer?

Hi there hsm and welcome back to ecf, so happy to hear that you made your way back and are beginning the journey again. Hey we're neighbors, I'm in Vancouver as well. I'm pretty new to vaping, was wondering if you have any favorite ecig shops around here? Aside from the first 510 kit I bought, I've ordered all of my supplies online, and would really dig browsing around a nice shop in person.

Actually, I've only ever purchased supplies online. Though several of the tobacco shops in the area might carry supplies, I've never visited one so can't say for sure. The most I could say is to search the net to see if you can find a local supplier, if you do I'd be interested to hear about it.

Experimentation is so important in finding a flavor you like. Last time I has a PV I spent a lot of cash trying out all the flavors I could to find my "sweet spot." Fortunately, I got a lot of that experimentation out of the way, so I was able to only order flavors I knew were satisfying to me (which was important, as I'm on a limited budget at the moment!)

Can't say I've ever tried any juices from Halo, though I've heard a lot about that one in particular. I might have to try it when I'm able to spend some green on experimenting.

Mostly I prefer and vape Halo's Torque... I cant find any other flavors that really satisfy me like that one. Otherwise Ive enjoyed various cocoa and java flavors from other vendors. Im still experimenting and trying different things.

I appreciate not getting lectures, my boyfriend already gives me a super hard time for my addiction to analogues.
I personally know that this forum will be a great source of support and information for me. My boyfriend just won't understand my choice to switch to another form of nicotine delivery instead of simply quitting it all.
He certainly will be confused when I go outside for a vape break and come back not smelling of smoke. Hahaha. :)

The good thing about vapers is that we are not like your significant other and will not toss you to the curb for your indiscretion. Yes, we will welcome you back with open arms hugs and kisses. We won't even give you a lecture, how about that? We are just glad to have you back...............

Welcome back, HSM! Since you left, a lot of things have changed in the vaping world. Battery size is one big improvement. The old 510 had a 180mah battery and had you trudging back and forth to the charger on a regular basis. The 510-T has a 280mah battery and that will give you a little more vape time. Nowdays, 650mah batteries are stock issue and many people are sporting 1000mah batteries with a 8 to 10 to 12 hour vaping time. Lots of us use 18650 batteries with 2000mah capacity and go all day and into the next vaping like fiends!

Tanks have evolved and the Smoketech DCT (dual carto tank) is hot. It comes in 3.5ml and 6.0ml sizes. It's the latest rage and doesn't suffer from the leak problems that the early tanks experienced.

There are also many variable voltage ecigs out now that let you dial in the voltage to tailor the vape to your taste. These are getting more and more popular. The Lavatube and Provari are two of the front runners.

You, like many others, obviously like slim batteries and that's where the 280mah size is popular among the Volt and 510-T crowd. Just letting you know what is there when you get tired of charging every couple of hours or constantly refilling a tank!

Stick around and check in on ECF when you can. These people quickly become online family.
