howdy - and welcome!
depends tremendously on vape style - i tend towards a .5ohm - .2ohm builds on both drippers and tanks, so I like the extended life of a dual battery box (and really dig the triple battery wismec reuleaux rx200), but for convenience and portability, have several single battery box mods also (cloupor mini+, evic vtc mini) and love em... with today's tech, a single battery box is capable of a 75w top end, with a decent battery and will easily run most of my builds - and an extra battery is easy to put in a silicone sleeve and tote along

recently picked up a VapeForward vaporflask stout and using a single 26650 battery in it - good compromise between size and single battery convenience versus longer life (3500-4200mah decent 26650 batteries available) - mod can also run on 18650 with included tube adapter

woah that is a very quick and helpful advice! I would love a good thick flavour so would a joyetech mini 75w be sufficient for my cloud chasing dreams? ;)

It's less about the battery and more what you put on top of it.

Would you be using a rebuildable dripping atomizer (RDA) or a rebuildable tank (RTA) or a tank with pre-built heads (ie: SubTank)?

Hello and welcome. Single vs double, i leave the double stack stuff at home, 200 Watters just have no place in my out and about rotation. The vtc mini and a spare 18650 will do for days .but some nights at home i want "klowdz brah" and thats where the regulated serial stuff comes in. But a good build on a troll and 50watts atop that vtc will make you happy happy happy

I prefer dual battery regulated mods 100% of the time. I usually have either a .3 Ohm RDA/RTA on it, and I've been known to look goofy with a Sigelei 150w using a Nautilus Mini... BUT that will last me a week :D

If I want something smaller with a built-in... 3000 mAh is the lowest I will go. I prefer battery stamina over size and convenience :)

Convenience, power, battery life

1: Convenience.
Well single battery is convenient; smaller; lighter; less to go wrong.

2: Power.
You can get more power from 2 batteries than 1.

3: Battery life.
You can get more battery life from 2 batteries than 1.

For me it depends on vape I want. The build and the amount of power needed to drive it determines the number of batteries I want. My personal rule, based on the 3.7v 20amp batteries, I use, is 40-50watts per battery. So, under 40watt I'd be happy with 1, above 50 watts I want more batteries. Thas with using batteries than can handle 80 watts on 1 battery.

I like and use both single and dual (and triple) battery mods. They are suitable for different purposes. Dual battery mods can put higher wattages on the coil, thus producing more vapor and, at the same watts, always offer more battery life. They're also harder to carry around. I take single with me when I go out and often vape my bigger mods at home. I happen to have 6 mods currently set up on my desk as I type: in the "go to work" pile is a Reo and an SX Mini, both single battery. In the "stay at home" pile is a Koopor Plus, a Siggie 150, a Smok Treebox and an RX200, which are respectively dual, dual, single and triple. It all depends on what you want. A single battery mod in the 60-75 watt range will make a lot of cloud when built correctly. But it isn't going to win a cloud competition. Welcome to the board.
