Ego vs Hello 016 (opinions needed)

To be totally honest, I have only seen it cheaper by a couple dollars at LiteCig. I don't think many are selling them it appears because of the propriety atomizer and a bad batch of batts when it first came out. I haven't even found them on Chinese sites.
When I take into consideration the level of customer service you get from Hoogie and Co. at madvapes, I'd be willing to pay more.

Will be fun to have 2 batteries for Hello.
The first one, after 1 month of heavy using, lasting for 8-10 hours (still, not bad). The first couple days it lasted for 2 days.

I know the feeling. LOL If I'm awake, I'm vaping. And I use it with LR attys. I know I'll only get 8-10 hrs. of steady vaping. Fortunately I also use 5v PTs.
With the Hello, I don't have to worry about carrying extra batts when I'm out and about.
Not exactly. You can use your parts for the eGo- the drip tips, atomizer, carts, and cartos- with the Hello 016 since both it and the eGo are threaded for 510 parts. So you couldn't use your cone, but the accessories, yes.
I purchased a Hello 016 Cartomizer Kit and an extra battery from MadVapes. It's been performing really well and I get almost two days of heavy vaping per charge (1 1/2 Days). I have heard mixed reviews for the Hello 016 atomizers. The battery works flawlessly with carts and LR atomizers. I haven't been using my 510 very much lately. I was "on the fence", trying to choose between the Ego, T-Rex and the Hello. I don't regret my decision.
Give it a month. You will be down to 8-10 hours. But still... better then others

I love my h16, but I bought it in a carto kit, and have not used the cone (which I have heard mixed things about). So far, battery life is excellent (I've gone 2 days with pretty consistent heavy vaping), vapor production is really not that much less than my 5v passthrough (I'm willing to bet my H16 will surpass my PT once my Boge LR cartos get here), and the look/feel/function of it is fantastic. The button works really well, the light is cool, and I love the grippy, almost rubbery feel on the battery cover. So, with cartomizers, I love this thing to death. I can't comment on the cone, however.

I second that. Madvapes is awesome. Great customer service, really low prices, unbelievably fast shipping, and great selection. I didn't really like the cartos I got in the kit with my H16 from them, but it's not their fault, I just don't really care for Bauway cartos. I've had much better luck with Bogetech cartos.

You may as well just put an auto opener on your wallet. Looks like you've done your research. I can see where you would choose the Hello for longer batt life and the elegant for cartos. Wait until you're trying to decide which mod you want. 
I purchased an XL eGo 900mA a few days. Waiting for the order.
What attracted me to the eGo was the mega atomizers and mega cartridges that hold over 2 ml of juice! Not the cone atomizers but the cylinder atomizers.
The 900mA isn't a huge difference compared to the 1300mA H-16, and the large juice reservoirs are a definite plus.
From what I've read the mega atomizers screw onto the cone threading on the eGo, not the regular 510 atomizer threading, so the mega atomizers will not work on a H-16.
What atomizers work with the H-16, and do any of them have a capacity close to the 2.5 ml mega eGo cartridges?
The extra battery life sounds great, but even more annoying than carrying a spare battery is having to constantly refill cartridges.
I'm also wondering what problems people are experiencing with the "conimizer" H-16 cone atomizers. I like the aesthetic appeal of the H-16 with the conimizer, so it was discouraging to hear about issues with them
