Good choice! It sets you up for an eGo when and if you get tired of the battery chargering. You've got the best atomizer and it's a good idea to know how to get the best from that. And that may include a good cartridge mod. Since you're a gadget geek you'll like this one and it works!

I find it works better with Johnson & Johnson 'safety swab' shafts. And you might try a blue foam plug along with it - my favorite now for months - which allows a good 30-40 minutes of heavy vaping between refills.

I use cartomizers but not with the 510 regular batts but in the eGo batts. The problem is, is that the 510 regular batts can't take the low resistance cartomizers because the battery isn't enough for them and the higher resistance cartomizers like the mega carto at nhalers runs too cool - hence a vapor loss. There are now some 2.6 and 2.8 ohm cartomizers out there that should be good though.

Good information! I'll be sure to look into that. I look forward to the learning curve I'll be experiencing still for the coming days, but I've already found my inhale method and haven't craved a cigarette most of the day.

Thanks! This seems to be a great community so far. We have the same set up. How long have you had yours? What all have you tried? Where do you intend to go from here?

Morning, Vassago :) I've tried different menthols since I was a menthol smoker. The Sam liquid from Cignot was supposed to be the closest to Salems. That had to be the nastiest stuff I've ever tasted. :p I thought, "Man, no wonder my dh would hesitate to kiss me after smoking those." N-A-S-T-Y! However, to be fair, that's just my opinion. There was a person in chat last night that said the Chinese menthol from Cignot was awesome. I'll probably give that a try.

At first I was so careful not to this or that....but then found out, I can do pretty much anything I want. You can even mix liquids if you choose. My mix wasn't very tasty, but I wasn't going to waste it. All I know is that I'm closing in on 3 cartons not smoked since I started. The money I've saved has almost paid for kit, etc.

Where do I wish to go? I want to get down to 0 nicotine, and if I want to continue vaping, I will. My resolve is stronger today than it was 2 weeks ago. Do I miss analogs? Sometimes. Do I want to pick up another one to smoke? No. I've come this far, why start over. It's okay for folks to do that if they choose. No condemnation from me. I just can't. One puff for me and I'm back to smoking again. Everyone is different, Vassago. What works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another. But, I've never seen so many people try to help on a website! Their knowledge goes a long way!:)
