New member here - thought I would say hello!

Am awaiting delivery of my first e-cig - have ordered a 510 - will see what it is like.

I recently tried a couple of disposables (Red) that werent particularly good, so am hoping this will be better - need to give up ciggies as have just found out my wife is pregnant

510 is a good starter. If you end up not liking it I would look at jumping into something like the Ego. They are simple devices like the 510 but much longer battery life and a bit stronger

I'm almost a year in and still using and liking my small 510's. to solve the short battery life I carry 3 around all day and I don't have to charge mine but once a day. carrying 3 around also takes care of the chain vaping getting the atty to hot problem a few months ago I stopped using the carts (I do not like cartos) and started using a clear tank cart. I'm a happy camper

I have ordered the 510 E Starter kit (510 E Cig Kit - My Ecigarette Store) from www.myecigarette.co.uk. I did look around for a litte while (though I am not particularly patient) - I dont really have any idea if they are a reputable supplier, or even if the kit I got was the right thing (though from my research it did seem to be popular for newbies).

Being a bit of a gadget freak, I am kinda looking forward to upgrading & experimenting, but for now I have just ordered some cartridges to go with it (E Cig Cartridges) before I go mad with anything else

Regarding being a dad-to-be - I REALLY dont want to smoke when my child arrives - I am hoping to reduce the amount of nicotine I use over time so that I can just use the e-cig to fulfill the social side of my smoking needs (as that is what keeps 'dragging' [heh] me back to it).

Hi Harry, there are far cheaper places to buy from. £8.95 for a 510 atomiser is very expensive Plus instead of buying more cartridges, you can refill the ones you get with the kit with juice & better still, get yourself some cartomisers instead (cartridges with built in atomisers) These Boge cartomisers are really good (use discount code ECF10 for 10% off) -

Cartos will work with the small 510 batteries, but you might want to consider some eGo 650mah batteries for better performance. I would look at the 1000mah eGo batts. The 1000s cost about $20 US each, but will give you about 10 hours of vaping time on a charge. Your current 510 batts will need charging in about an hour and a half. If you spend time at work or driving around, I'd consider a USB cigarette lighter adapter for your charge cable.

Unfortunately, by the looks of it, for £35.00 the batts are only 180 mah which means you'll get "maximum" 1.6 hrs out of it before it needs a recharge.
At Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510 you can buy a 650 mah Starter Kit for £35.00. Also LF is an ECF listed vendor and is highly regarded.

Actually just found a better deal. £35.00 plus 15% off right now too with free shipping. The bats are 1100 mah ad the Riva is highly regarded. Best to go with 510 thread as they are more popular IMO.

Yes, you are reading that right & that is a very good deal from Freedomvape - they are an excellent UK vendor. I was referring to your post #16 where you were referring to the price of 510 kit that Harry has ordered Lol, hope that makes sense, but we are both actually in total agreement
