Good day everybody. I have been searching this forum for the better half of a year now, I decided its finally time to create an account so here I am!

I live in Canada, Alberta, Calgary. It's difficult to get good juice up here now a days, but I do know a great supplier and I've always got my juice from him. I've been a vapour for a little over a year. Started with an Ego-C kit and just recently made a large purchase and ordered a bunch of goodies.

I ordered a bunch of XL Boge Cartos SR, a Vamo kit, and a Phiniac tank. I figured the Cartotank will probably be the simplest and best system for me to vape on a regular basis, although I am very interested in trying out a RBA which I may pick up down the road.
I'm eagerly awaiting my order as we speak!

I'm a heavy vapour, I love vaping and I love the nicotine. I vape on 24mg and usually go through around 30ml a week.

I guess before I can start asking questions I need to post in here first! I'll ask my one question in here, hopefully you can answer.

When I use my V2 Siam mods carto punch tool to start parching my Boge Cartomizers, I'm hoping I have a general starting point based on my type of juice.

I use 70/30 VG, PG Juice so its much thicker. I've searched and searched and searched and I've come across conflicting answers.
On the Phiniac site, the gentlemen states to twist the V2 punch 4 full turns. This creates a very big " single " Hole.
Would this be big enough for my thickness of juice? Would two "smaller" holes be better then 1 big hole? If so how many turns should I do. 2 full turns instead of 4, or 3 full turns?

I just don't want to under or over do it a bunch of times from the get go.
It confused me as he did 1 large hole, but everywhere I look I see that for 70%VG 2 holes is best. What is different about 2 small holes vs 1 large hole?

Thanks guys.

Welcome to ECF, S2KG. Haha . . . I could use some of those cartos, which you have. :D

I just started the whole carto tank venture. Actually, I will be priming my first cartomizer in about an hour. This should interesting, as I have been using clearomizers up to this point.

I think that we will both be experimenting to see what works the best for each of us.

Thanks guys. I as well have been using clearomizers for a short while. Prior to that, almost the entire year I was using the plastic tanks that came with the Ego kit, and Ego SR Atomizers. A few weeks ago my distributor of juice sold me some clearomizers at a good price and told me to try them out. They were much better! I then started doing lots of research and realized there are now so many great things out there!

Wish you luck on your Cartotank! I watched how GrimmGreen primed his on youtube using the rubber cap. That looks like the best way to prime it and possibly how I will do so as well.

But let me know how it goes!
